Best WLM Reviews

If you want authentic Colombian food this is the place to be. I haven’t been able to try all their plates but the ones that I have tried so far are absolutely delicious. This place is always busy, but they always seem to serve you the food at a decent time that’s for sure. Max we wait is 20min for the bigger plates, it honestly gives a welcoming family environment. The ladies that work there are always friendly greeting with a smile. No trash cans so you leave the trash on your table and they clean so make sure to leave at least a tip.
Only thing I don’t like is the location, there’s a Spanish market and a nightclub? restaurant next to it where men stand upfront so when walking in or out of Aroma the eyes are on you if you are a woman.
I honestly recommend just trying everything on the menu, but most importantly the Pandeja Paisa, their drinks salpicon (fruit drink) and guanavana smoothie.
Good food and great service. They have a bakery, unfortunately/fortunately they serve good portions. So did have room for dessert.
Ordered Takeout : The bandeja paisa, and asked if they could switch out the sausage for just another chicharon since I did not want to waste the sausage. They told me they couldn't. This isnt my first columbian restaurant, and usually they cater to that preference, I even stated i was willing to pay the price difference.. The cashier/waitress still refused..other than that, the food is really good.
When u come here don’t come when your very hungry the wait for the line is long about 20mins and then u have to wait for them to prepare your food is about 35-45min wait. I wish they had a better service when ordering so it could speed up the process. The food is amazing Colombian, which there isn’t a lot of Colombian spots around here unless you go to DC.
Order a beef and egg arepa and this is literally what they gave me….
Not even a whole bite of beef. $14 for this? Ridiculous
I surprised my Colombian husband for his birthday but now we should have gone somewhere else. They charge like a fast food restaurant, there is no waiters at all and we had to wait for someone to clean the table so we could sit.
We ordered the Hawaiian chicken, the steak with beans, a tamal and the quesadilla. All of the dishes DIDN'T have any kind of flavor. Even the quesadilla was tasteless! The food took forever to arrive to the table. All of the side salads had rot dead lettuce in them.
I decided to try the pastries to be insulted by the cashier lady. She had attitude and kept getting my order wrong. I told her I wanted a tres leches cup and would forget to get it for me and I had to keep asking her to go get it. After she got me a Mil Hojas pastry she placed the container on its side and I asked her to change it for a new one since it got messed up, she said they didn't do that. The pastry arrived upside down and it crumbled looking like a hot mess!! I will order in advance so I don't have to deal with people and their bad attitude issues. FOOD IS OVERPRICED TOO!!!
Talk about authenticity! Fresh food prepared as you wait. Felt like I walked into South America. Spanish music playing. Warm ambience of colors. Awesome bakery setup. Had to use google translate to make a custom order ???? Place is very unique with friendly people all around.
I like this bakery because the breads are very tasty and they are homemade and everything is fresh. I enjoy a lot of all their breads and cakes. They are a delicatessen. For my palate and the place is very clean and the cashiers are always very kind and charming.
