So, this was my first time getting waxed in forever. Lol. I got there and I didn't know what to get. I believe it was the owner who greeted me and gave me a brief overview of the wax procedures. Show helped me decide and Chasity came in and helped me relax. She was fast and efficient. Last minute I added my lower legs and the other young lady was such a joy to work with (Sorry, I forgot her name but she did IT for HD). All in all, it was a great experience. The place was clean and had a nice aroma. The music and staff were on point. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Prices are super reasonable.
I came in today and I was greeted by someone who was not very friendly or welcoming. It actually made me feel uncomfortable. It was my first time coming so I was deciding if I wanted to leave or not while I was in the bathroom based off of her energy. Then, someone came up by the name of Laricka (My apologies if spelled incorrectly) and she was such a joy. Her personality was kind and instantly I felt relieved. She provided a tremendous Brazilian wax. I would absolutely return. When I was leaving, there was a second young lady up front by the name of Ciara. She was also very sweet and personable. I'm not sure of the name of the other receptionist, but her attitude should be worked on. She seemed annoyed that I even rang the door bell. I won't let her stop me from frequenting again. Overall, I'm happy and my wax looks fabulous!
I love going here for my brazilian the atmosphere is very relaxing. The staff is super friendly. I questioned the difference between sugar wax and regular wax and they did a patch of both to let me feel the difference. I’ve also tried v-steam and enjoyed that experience as well.
Now I will honestly say that I almost did not use the Groupon that I had bought because I went there on Wednesday as a walk-in and the herbalist that was there said to me I would have to wait an hour or more for a wax even though the parking lot was empty and there was absolutely no-one getting serviced. She was not very helpful or accommodating and I left after 30 minutes. I woke up a couple of days later and said this economy is too hard for me to be letting money go to waste so I booked an appointment with Adrienne. I am so happy that I decided to go ahead and give the establishment another chance because this is one of the best damn waxes I have ever had and I have been going to Europe center for over a decade and Rio Body Wax for about four years. This is now my new wax spot.
This place is outstanding! By far the best wax place for all woman, especially black woman. They are thorough and priced fairly that why I always tip nice. Before my vacay, I had to bring my 5 year old son and they were so accommodating. They didn't trip, he waited in their lobby and well behaved might I add ( that's not always the case with a 5 yrs old). Nonetheless, this place gets 5 stars.
Literally sat there an hour past my appointment time, weekend time is precious when you work m-f, a simple sorry for your wait, or thank you for your patience would have been nice. Watched 2 other ladies leave, and I followed because that’s ridiculous. Wish I could have tried them but oh well.
I have been going to them for years but they are starting to let younger women in there to wax. After my last wax, I’ve acquired bumps ( pimples ) around and on my Brazilian area. I will be going to see a doctor Monday morning to assess what’s going on as it has not gone away after weeks. I am in turmoil right now because I take care and pride of that area very well and it’s a mess now. I’m not sure if it was old wax or a bad waxer but this is not acceptable.
EVERYTIME I come in it’s a new person doing my wax. I do not like that and I ask the lady for their business cards so I can get half off my 5th wax but she never gives me one. They are rude! This one lady let the wax fall in my vagina while it was hot. I will NEVER come here!
