Arnie's was amazing! There were two people working and they both were so incredibly kind and helpful. I'm sorry I forgot their names because I wish I could give them a shout-out. Indoor and outdoor seating, the place is cozy. We took our food to our Airbnb to eat and was not disappointed at all. I got the Chicago style dog and fries. It was so good!! It was the perfect amount of food and was made just right. 10/10 and will definitely go back when I'm in town again. Loved it!
Grew up in Whiting, and this place is a MUST whenever I am back in town! They've added to the menu from what I remember as a kid, but still have the nostagic flavors I remember. Miss being able to get these on the regular whenever I head back out of da region!
Was here the other day and heard one of the new employees ask for some water and the other employee said “you have to pay for it first” and showed him the sign. I asked the workers if this was true and they all 3 said yes. So i order them all drinks so they can stay hydrated while working because these are just kids working here. The owner really needs to not charge the employee for water thats really messed up and im sure not legal.
Other than that, the food is decent.
Haven't had a dog at Arnies since my mill days at ISG. Was on a road detour and hungry. Like just happened to be in area. For a great price dog and fries!
The service was quick and efficient. Items on the menu were relatively on the cheaper end. The food was good. The only negative thing about the food was I wish the pizza puff wasn't as soft. It was borderline gummy.
Mediocre hotdog spot. I take my reviews seriously and I was told by a lot of BP plant workers to go to Arnies for a good dog... Got the chilli cheese polish dog w/fries. The Polish dog didn't have much of any flavor, the chili didn't have much flavor, the cheese had minimal flavor as well. All together, a semi flavorless dog. The fries were average fries.
Overall I felt like I was getting a dog and fries at a carnival.. just average.
Came into the restaurant it wasn’t so neat.the customer service was poor the cashier was barely paying attention to my order to the point they messed up my food it’s like if you wasn’t a regular they barely paid attention to you!!!! The wait was long and the food wasn’t even good the overall experience was terrible my first and last time there!!!!!!!
Nice little hot dog joint great customer service and very good food I highly recommend it ????
