We came here for lunch and had fries, garlic/oil pasta, stromboli, and cheesesteak. The food is always great here.
They have a bar, outdoor seating, some solid deals on lunch specials, and what now looks like paid parking on one side of the restaurant. They ALSO have a small gluten-free menu that includes GF pizza.
Claiming that this restaurant was only *MAGNIFICENT* would result in an absolute understatement! I had an *EXCEPTIONAL* time-out with their: *INCREDIBLE* food, *ASTOUNDING* customer service, *WELL-KEPT* interior decorating, & *INSPIRING* available drafts on tap! The exterior of the restaurant appears much different on first glance then the seating availble on the inside! There are tables, BOOTHS, & even a full-service bar availble for your dining convenience (the tip of the iceberg may also be the outdoor patio tables for fair weathered days)! You will fall in love with the relaxed nature of this establishment & abundant list of items available on the menu! Choose a dining experience that will be *SURE TO SATISFY* choose Armetta's today!
Ordered cheesey bread and got a half a hoagie roll with cheese on one half. Not true cheesey bread. Not homemade and not even cheese on the whole roll. The cheesesteak Stromboli was also half cheese and then cheesesteak on the other half. False advertising greasy and subquality ingredients. Would not eat again. Not worth the 40 dollars. When called the restaurant to explain the displeasure for the garlic bread the manager stated " we have always done the cheesey bread this way what's the difference between a hoagie roll and bread" clearly doesn't understand the need for quality ingredients and homemade bread. Don't waste your money.
Absolutely wonderful first experience. We ordered a full size pizza, we thought it was $15.95 but the young man said $10.95 we thought it was a mistake, he said on Monday and Tuesday they have a special. Honesty and tasty Pizza you cannot beat that combination. We surely will be back here for more.
This is a Fantastic Italian Restaurant!! We stumbled upon it by accident and so very happy that we did! Our server, Madison, was Outstanding!! She was very attentive, gave menu suggestions, had a warming personality - just a wonderful person! We had an appetizer (Calamari) - perfectly cooked and the marinara sauce was excellent! Our main dishes, Shrimp Scampi and Seafood Marinara were Amazing - huge portions, great flavor - perfect all around. We also got a plain hamburger for our two year old son, who promptly ate half of it. We saved some of those big portions to take home so we could try some desserts & happy we did! We tried a Cannoli and a slice of Chocolate Mousse, both were over the top! We are so glad we found this place and will be back the next time we come to Allentown!!
Ordered delivery. Specifically ordered it for 4:45 NOT for immediate delivery. Food was delivered immediately, over 30 minutes early. By the time I got home from work it was cold. I ordered a salad, it was rotten and I couldn’t even attempt to eat it. Ordered 2 steak sandwiches with sauce and mozzarella. They forgot the mozzarella. Their “sauce” is simply chunks of stewed tomatoes, not what I consider to be sauce, or what I’ve received in the past from other restaurants as sauce. I tried eating it anyway, but only managed a few bites before throwing it away. My husband also only managed to eat a few bites before giving up. Their fries are usually good, but again, they were sitting for over 30 minutes before I was home and cold soggy French fries are simply not good. $39.80 wasted, and I still don’t have dinner. I keep giving them a chance because I’ve heard how good they are, but I’ve rarely gotten anything remotely good delivered. Maybe the experience is different dining in, but there’s no reason to not offer good food for delivery as well. Very disappointed.
Let’s start with the “cheesy bread”. A so called Italian restaurant who does not give specifics on the half covered mozzarella HOAGIE ROLL with little to no seasoning that they call cheesy bread. What a joke this place is. Thank goodness for there non greasy stromboli with half cooked peppers. Then I called to simply ask why the hoagie roll was served and two employees, one being the manager, decided to give me a hard time on their terrible product for $7. I’m not cheap but come on, I’ll make my own at home next time. Thanks for nothing. Do not recommend and don’t worry, we will spread the word.
We had a wonderful meal there. Chicken parm and eggplant parm. Both were very good. The service was excellent. Definitely recommend.
