Passing the area, decided to get a stromboli , pizza and some fries. The service, the staff, very welcoming, friendly and food was delicious. I had the best experience at this location. Thank you very much! Cant wait to visit here again!!
I'm from Newark, NJ and I gotta say the food here is either as good or better then places in the city. Pizza Hot and fresh, not overly greasy, a variety of options and overall just really good food. Great staff, quick service. Definitely recommend hungry travelers to check this spot out.
This is a sad comment to write. This used to be my favorite pizza place in the area, now it’s just a mess. This new owner doesn’t know what’s happening. I placed an order, went to pick it up and was just told by the waitstaff that their boss gave away my order and that replacement would take over half an hour. This isn’t Armenti’s anymore. It’s a commercial shell of what it was. I’d say avoid there are better places near by.
UPDATE: I got a call from the owner after I was told my food would be remade. He said that he had my new food, but would not be serving me due to “problems with service”. If this is who you want to do business with, be warned what can happen here.
We try all different pizza spots but this place is exceptional. Friendly owner and staff, and the best thin, crispy crust pizza I've tried. Had the Brooklyn pizza with vodka sauce. Amazing. Had to order one to go. BYOB too . Can't wait to try their regular sauce and toppings too.
I live in the neighborhood and stopped going before because the food was great but I had concerns with the service I'd gotten. I figured I'd give it a try under new owners and am SO GLAD I did! The food was, somehow, even better (and it was good before!) ,and the service exceeded even my exacting standards! So much so that I ordered food for my whole team a few days later. When I did, they not only completed the order early, they came across the parking lot to drop it off as a courtesy! NEPA has tons of pizza joints - do yourself a favor and go to one with a staff and ownership who truly goes the extra mile! Like me, you'll be glad you did!!
Was nervous about the transfer of new ownership, food was always delicious before. Tonight I ordered $200 worth of food (pizzas, subs, wings, Stromboli) ordered extra toppings! Let me tell you, it’s better than before! They not only added all the extra toppings that I asked for ( unlike other places that skimp on cheese and sauce) it was honestly the best pizza I’ve had in a long time! Wings and everything else was amazing! Love the red sauce here. New owners are very nice and so isn’t the staff!! Very clean establishment. Please don’t change anything. And the Sicilian pizza isn’t way too thick like other places! It’s perfect with that amazing sausage, pepperoni and extra cheese and sauce. Thank you for a great experience worth the drive from Honesdale! Cheesesteak pizza with the peppers, onions, mushrooms, extra cheeses and vodka sauce was a hit! Trust me it’s good
I’ve been coming here since they opened 13 years ago. The previous owners were absolutely the friendliest people you ever want to meet . The food was above and beyond always. The staff was awesome. Very baffling to me as to why a new owner would come in and keep the old owners last name when he has absolutely nothing to do with him. Get your own business name DUDE !!!!!! So just letting everyone know who goes there , everything has changed , recipes, menus, prices, ect:: the new owner will deny it but he’s lying. .. have no respect for him or that place anymore ..
I ordered a vodka cheesesteak this afternoon. It was perfect, so delicious. It really made my day. Lots of steak and I got an extra side of sauce for dipping.
I’m absolutely a foodie haha .. even the bread was perfect just enough crisp but still soft. Round of applause for the staff. Thank you. Definitely make Armenti’s your next lunch spot you won’t be disappointed.
