Best WLM Reviews

Went here due to a close friends recommendation, good food, the tamarind margarita was a lot better than the house (and they replaced it for free Thank You ????????). The chicken strips and fries were delicious and chicken pieces were HUGE. The carnitas plate was large and delicious. The chips didn’t appear to be home made & could be improved. The prices are high but the portions are huge and service is GREAT .
Love stopping in for their Cactus Queso Fundido. Super cheesy and love it with their fresh tortillas. This time I also ordered a single cheese enchilada too. Service was great even though they were busy for lunch.
I would not recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable. The waitress was unhelpful, dismissive, and downright rude, which set a poor tone for the entire meal. We were seated in a corner surrounded by leftover or empty gas tanks, which felt unprofessional and unpleasant.
The food itself was mediocre at best—not worth the pricing, especially considering the service and overall experience. For what we paid, I expected much better quality and atmosphere. Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve had as a family, and we won’t be returning.
Wow!!! My first visit. The margaritas were huge, and the lunch special was fabulous. The guacamole we ordered to go with our chips was fabulous. Diana, was our server and she took great care of us.
I really wanted some cheap and delicious Mexican but when the menu said 3 tacos for $25 I opted for the salad. The salad was basic and had old lettuce in it.
The salsa and free chips def were amazing. And made the meal. The waitress was very attentive and nice
We come to California 4 to 6 times a year always stop in at Armando‘s for the margaritas. I loved the margaritas so much that as the prices went up, I ignored it and as the food taste went down I ignored it, but this time I got to say I won’t be back. Now even the margaritas are not the same couldn’t even taste if there was any tequila in there. I am so very disappointed that the one thing that I thought they did the best is now lowest of standards. We won’t be back.
Beautiful location with outdoor seating along the street. We got lucky and they had one heater still running on a night that got a little cooler than expected. The food was delicious! I tried their tamarindo margarita and my wife has their classic margarita. Both were excellent and I'd say the tamarindo was my favorite so far...make sure you get the tajin rim vs just salt.

Stopped into Armandos for an early lunch before heading to a Super Bowl party. We started with margaritas, chips and salsa. Raul was our server and was attentive and managing to handle many tables. My wife ordered the enchiladas suizas and I had Lupes chile relleno. The food was good as were the two rounds of margaritas ????. Super nice vibe and ambiance on El Paseo. The dining experience was positive and a great place to people watch...highly recommended.
Previous visit
We stopped at Armandos for lunch today and were greeted by Sandra our waitress. Sandra was very sweet and nice and tool our drink order and of course guacamole order. Shortly thereafter a nice young man fought us the chips and salsa right about when the drinks and guacamole arrived..quite good. We sat outside in the patio which has fans and misters as it was only 108 degrees...Sandra came back and took our order. I have Lupe's famous chile relleno platter and my wife had enchiladas suizas. I must tell you that Lupe's relleno is the best I have ever had...unbelievable...so tasty. We enjoyed out time at Armandos, food and service! A great place and highly recommended...
