We came here for a quick bite to eat yesterday before getting ice cream I promise my girlfriend.
The place was very clean and empty at first with only one or two other patrons, but then a family came in while we were waiting on our food.
When you arrive you are greeted and seat yourself. Then our server Carlos came to our table and took first our drink orders, then gave us a few minutes to look at the menu and decide what we wanted to order. He returned a little while later with our drinks and then took our food order. They also have TVs where you can watch sports or cartoons for the kids like SpongeBob.
Our food arrived piping hot as we had to wait for it to cool down some. In the pictures you see the cheese so hot/fresh it's sliding down the side in the pictures ???? but this means it's fresh!
Overall, my girlfriend and I enjoyed our quick trip here and had nothing but a positive experience with the food and service we received from Carlos.
Good pizza joint that's showing the sign of the times. Store could use a renovation, service could be more proactive, and they could use some music. Pizza, though, is great. Therefore, in spite of its flaws, I'll still visit from time to time. Nom nom nom! ????
Well... This Armand's Pizza is The Last hope for humankind; My friends and I have been eating Armand's Pizza for 40 years since the mid 1980's at the Original location (Tenleytown in NW DC), and all other locations (Capitol Hill, Silver Spring, Arlington, Tenleytown) have been closed years ago. Montgomery County needs to make this location a landmark.
Super tasty!!! We had the deep dish pizza and garlic cheese bread. Both were delicious!! Fair warning, if you have a picky eater, their sauce has tomato chunks in it. My son just picked them off and was fine though!
I’ve been meaning to check this place out ever since it won best pizza in MoCo, and I’m glad that I finally got to check it out! The pizza was really tasty - good quality ingredients, a hefty slice, and good value! I can see why it was voted as best pizza. The crust was thick and had a great bite to it, the cheese was stretchy, and the ratio of everything was great. The mozzarella sticks were also very delicious. The breading to cheese ratio was just right and the marinara sauce was flavorful. They didn’t get soggy before we got home, either. We ordered the original Chicago deep dish and mozzarella sticks and I’m excited to try the other things on the menu as well. I can’t wait to be back!
I used to go to the one on seminary Rd and Georgia avenue but that closed years ago, BUT I'm GLAD this is still open!!!!! The pizza ( Chicago style) was EXCELLENT, fresh tasting ingredients and made VERY well.I will be back
I stayed at a nearby hotel and was excited that this place was walking distance so figured we’d try it out for take out. I can’t even complain on anything about this place. The prices are reasonable, the service was pleasant, and the food was great! I didn’t even have to wait long. Due to the display of pizza near the register, I was tempted to order a slice even though I’m not a pizza fan. It looked sooo good. LOL. I’ll be back during my stay here in the area!
Ryan liked the Pizza better than our usual staple. Our server was nice enough but in some sort of hurry to get away from us. This resulted in errors in our order.
Mozzarella sticks were over cooked. Wings were solid Sysco. But the anchovies in my salad came out as artichokes. And I got charged extra for the mistake. Pushed my salad away.
We were going to get an extra pizza to go. But since she didn't wanna come back...
Probably won't return.
