i ordered online and decided to get their menudo. I asked for the "bowl" size and this is what they gave me. Mind you the bowl size is $13+! I asked the lady behind the bar if maybe they gave me a smaller size and she said "that is the bowl size, sir" I poured it into an actual bowl and it only filled half. And this wasn't a big bowl either.
I love hearing the Mexican music as I dine. The decor is perfect. Then the food???!!! The shredded beef burrito is better than any other restaurant I've tried. And I forgot to mention the service was also perfect. This was so wonderful I didn't mind the drive from Denver to LaSalle!
Excellent food excellent service and the only reason the three stars for the atmosphere is probably because of the time of day I went there there is very few people. The temperature was cool comfortable and appeared to be very clean inside. The type of place I don't mind spending money on
I ordered the sopapilla and it was soggy, the green chili had a burnt taste. The pork was burnt. The ground beef was very dry, it did not taste fresh. Plate presentation was poor, They did deduct 50%, and apologized, I will not be eating there again. I was very disappointed. Our server was nice and friendly. They need new kitchen staff who know how to cook.
Let’s talk about Nancy, she was really good in the beginning, we really liked her but that all changed for some reason we don’t know. We got very personal with her but all of sudden that changed. She stopped talking to us and would never acknowledge us when we went in. We would try with her but she completely ignored us. One night we asked our server if she could turn on the fan to help keep the flies away. She said she had to talk to management. Nancy came over and it went downhill from there. She came over with an attitude for no reason. We love the good and staff but Nancy will be a problem for a reason we do not know.
It was a bit pricey but they say that you get what you pay for. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. They had the best salsa I have had in years. I highly recommend.
Best Fajitas around I think. Plate was still sizzling when it got to table. Was delicious. Great salsa. I always get some to go home. We have been going here for 20 plus years! I have to have it regularly and prefer it over other mexican restaurants in town. Greeley.
Nancy was our server... She was wonderful. Been coming here for years. Never disappointed. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is the chips... They're store-bought rather than made in-house. They also aren't very good... Probably like a 5/10. Prices are very reasonable... Least expensive Mexican restaurant that I know of by a dollar or 2 per entree. Aside from the chips... The food was terrific. I really like the atmosphere. It's cozy and comfortable.
