Best chicken fried chicken I have had for a while, and the jumble onion rings were awesome! The food is so beyond our expectations for the price, and our server was very lovely. Also, our dogs approved the grass outside for poop. Will definitely stop by again.
This was a GREAT little find on my way through Texas. Great food and very friendly people. I always love a laid back, country atmosphere and this place was perfect for that.
Great truck parking space. Staff was super friendly and attentive! Restaurant is very nice, clean, and quiet. The food, however, was lacking. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t as great as these other reviews make it seem. I’m wondering if I ate at the same place? Really bland and…boring. Also, menu pictures on here are not what you are given. We had laminated pages stapled together with several items not listed.
I would say its decent. Atmosphere was great, service was a little slow even with hardly any other diners. Food was okay but nothing to get excited about. I got the brisket which lacked flavor. Son got a burger and fries, he didn't finish it. Daughter got breakfast and liked it. Wife got brisket poppers and they were pretty good. However it was more of a blended consistency with the filling.
I might try them again in the future with different menu items. The menu was large
A tasty stop for dinner. Limited menu, but what they do have, they do right. We couldn't even finish the food, the portions were so huge.
We waited for an hour to get our food, waited on a table for 10 minutes. We came at their rush hour of lunch time. They were out of the meat for Philly cheese steak meat, so we had to order something else after we had ordered already. The salad was delicious! My husband enjoyed the potatoes & meat soup. The steak was charred & very delicious. The burgers were good! The bq pork sandwich tasted funny. Absolutely recommend the sweet potato fries & steak! We had to wait a bit but we enjoyed some family time.
No greeting. Slow service. Lot's of serving on the plate, but they lacked flavor. My Philly sub was slightly crispy, and fries were good. The brisket sandwich was dried, and there was no flavor, no nothing to it. Onion rings were ok again, no flavor. Tea and water are pretty good.
Absolutely love the ribs here! I love BBQ and this place beats Big Texan hands down. It's a hole in the way place and worth it! Truckers, y'all should go here if ya got time. Just had to the front and turn left. If the gate is closed go outside and still head left, it's so worth it!!!!
