Having the same issue as a reviewer below. The office took my credit card at the time of visit. Now I have a charge on both my card and my insurance. I’ve called once a day for 6 business days and can’t get ahold of anyone. I won’t go here again.
Giving 2 stars because the medical professional was really nice and got me out of there quickly.
I have gone to this location for years and I’ve brought my kids here as well. I’ve never had an issue until today. My daughter had a 10:00 appointment and we waited over an hour to even go back to a room. A walk-in and a person who checked in for a 10:15 were both called back before my daughter. They said they were short staffed which I understand, but to watch others who arrived after us walk right back is disappointing. Not sure I’ll return.
It's weird that I have had the same issues as other people with the birthday not matching. Exact same thing happened with me at this location. I believe it is because of CareSource and not this location. That being said, I have had great experiences here and the staff has been really fantastic. They're going to do so much... This is what I've come to expect from urgent Care locations. At the end of the day your primary care physician is always going to take better care of you than urgent care. I'm just thankful that they are open outside of normal traditional hours. Everything was very clean when I was there. All five times that I have been there there has been no sign of Filth or transgression...
Would not recommend. I’m surprised this place is that bad being it’s located right in the heart of Upper Arlington. The inside gave me a dirty feeling. The chairs were disgusting. Then the staff couldn’t figure out my insurance and were saying my daughter’s birthdate didn’t match. We wasted about 20 minutes dealing with this. Not to mention the staff was not very nice and don’t even greet you when you walk in. They just let people stand there staring at them while they do other things. A hello or welcome would suffice. We ended up leaving because they wanted me to self-pay. We have use our insurance for many things and we went to Nationwide instead and had ZERO issues. This place is terrible.
We’ve gone here on more than one occasion and it’s consistently the same story. Front desk staff is rude, difficult process to “check in”, most recently the staff and some patients were combative and verbally arguing in the lobby. This most recent visit we were also told they needed a credit card on file as they aren’t sending out bills due to non-payment from patients. We gave them our insurance info, took them 15 minutes to enter it and still messed it up charging our credit card instead of insurance. Now we’re working with insurance to get reimbursed after Arlington Care said they’d “take care of it”. We’ve said it nearly every time we’ve gone, but I can now truly say this is the last time we will be utilizing their service.
Everyone was helpful and kind. I only waited to be seen for about 5 minutes. Each professional I saw was easy to talk to and easily understood. They investigated my symptoms quickly and gave me good instructions and a prescription. I am thankful they were available for me!
I called all around Columbus to find somewhere that took my insurance, and when I finally talked to someone on the phone they said on the phone "yes, we take (my insurance)". They took my insurance card information when i got there, and didn't say anything about not taking it, and then charged me $410 for a visit that took 20 minutes. I called my insurance, they said it was out of network. So I called the urgent care center and they said "we don't take that insurance, I don't know why someone told you we did." At least they did give me a 50% discount for non-insurance holders.
The staff here were so friendly and very understanding. I came in with a sinus infection. My appointment was super quick and the doctor took care of my situation perfectly. This is definitely my new go-to urgent care!
