Best WLM Reviews
Overall I was impressed. I was not expecting to have the stay I had but it turned out to be a good stay. The rooms need TLC but I ran into my housekeeper Ashley who was putting in hard work doing her best to make sure the room was clean with the renovations that are going on and being done. The staff is probably the best part of the stay for this old time hotel. Everyone was always nice and accommodating. Ashley made sure to clean everything in my room without disturbing me during my studies and I appreciate that because I went there for vacation but had a lot of schoolwork to do.
A fun stay! The front desk staff and valet staff fell short with friendliness, but Dana at the Lobby Starbucks made up for it! She was amazing!! ||Parking was absolutely an issue -no handicapped access to park in a 3 block radius and valet was unavailable and offered no help. ||The hotel itself was charming! Loved my room, the live music in the Christmas decorated bar, and the location!!
Wow! What an experience! So many things to say! First, the location is amazing and the resort itself has so much rich history and character and is a truly legendary place! The breakfast buffet in the Venetian Ballroom was amazing and live music at night in the lobby was so fun! However, the price was astronomical and the rooms were decrepit, falling apart and full of mold, mildew, and dust. It looked like no one had vacuumed behind the bed for years. The room was sweltering hot and we were told there was nothing they could do about it but they did give us a fan. The carpets were stained, water damaged and disgusting and the walls and ceiling literally falling apart. They had no food options available for the entire first night we were there and the front desk was a bit rude. We did a traditional bath experience which was amazing but some of the female staff was eating McDonald’s in the room and loudly yelling to each other during our services and it was quite distracting. I do not feel it was worth the price even with the historical value. I hate to leave such a harsh review but feel people should know what they are getting into. Overall we enjoyed our stay despite the above.
I enjoyed my stay in this historic setting. I always wanted to enjoy the historical part of hot springs and this was perfect. I had a housekeeper named Veronica during my stay who was very pleasant and had a great sense of humor, she made sure I did not feel rushed and made sure my room was perfect to my liking. The guest do not give enough credit to housekeeping for such a historical building being maintained. My room was clean and I give credit to housekeeping for maintaining the historical image of the hotel.
From the moment we walked in, we enjoyed the history and atmosphere. Chris P. checked us in and was a pleasure to work with. He was upbeat, honest, and went along with all of my corny jokes. The bartenders were also very sweet and had great drinks. Of course, being on the main strip- the location was stellar. While we love the historic aspects of the room, the bed could be more comfy and the patchwork on the walls/ceiling could have been done with more quality work, and a door to shut the toilet off by itself would’ve been nice. Overall, great experience!
I had so much fun at the Christmas party and Alex had a big part in making it great! He was kind and very efficient with serving guests!! His smile is top notch and so friendly! Very knowledgeable guy! The hotel itself was so historic and overall just had a great vibe to it! Thank you Arlington Hotel for giving us a great night!
I had an excellent experience with the counter clerk, he goes by "Chill" - you'll know him when you see him, and his personality is true to his name. We booked online, got a very affordable price on a room, and he and the valets Bradley and Ethan really helped us out, including with some car problems we were having. Even though we had checked out, they let us charge our jump kit so I could get my car up and running again. Overall, very personable staff who are eager to help. The rooms were affordable and well-kept, and the hotel lobby is stunning and tastefully adorned. If you're looking for a nice stay on the main street in Hot Springs at a good price, this is the place to be. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the different amenities at the hotel, but we'll probably be back to experience the town another time.
If you're reading this Chill, I hope you're having a good one. Peace, buddy.
We had a reservation for a 3 night stay in December 2024 We were looking forward to experience the old world charm and location of this resort. We were assigned room 342. As soon as we opened the door we were horrified. It was the most filthy hotel we had ever stayed in. The carpet was stained and dirty. Furniture was ripped. . Shower did not work. everything was rusted. We left the hotel and cancelled the remainder nights of our stay and checked into another hotel. It wasn't just the room. Halls and elevators were just as dirty. No parking except an adjacent costly garage. Told family who we were visitning in the area to never recommend this property.
