First time visiting and food was amazing! We waited a couple of minutes for a table but after trying their food, totally understand why! Definitely worth the wait! The French toast and burgers were delicious. Can’t wait to come back soon!
"Friendly Service with Classic Diner Vibes"
We recently stopped by Arlington Diner in Stroudsburg, PA, and had a pleasant breakfast experience. The diner has a cozy interior, and we were warmly welcomed by the host, who genuinely empathized with our 15-minute wait—a refreshing attitude for such a busy spot.
The staff were patient, well-mannered, and quick to assist. We tried several breakfast items: scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, toast, and a Benedict. The scrambled eggs and home fries were straightforward, though a bit plain, with just seared potatoes and no added veggies like onions or peppers. Unfortunately, the toast had a bit of mold, but the waiter immediately replaced it with a fresh batch, showing excellent customer service.
The highlight was the Eggs Benedict—the Hollandaise sauce was fantastic, and my wife even requested extra on the side for the home fries. We also ordered a cheeseburger, which had great flavor with fresh, juicy lettuce and tomatoes, and French toast that looked simple but surprised us with a good flavor.
Overall, Arlington Diner provided a quick and flavorful experience (aside from the toast mishap), and I’d recommend it for a classic, tasty breakfast if you're passing through Stroudsburg.

The diner was fairly easy to access from I-80 as a meeting place between our home north of Scranton and relatives from near Atlantic City. The staff let us choose a table, gave us menus, and graciously waited for the last travelers to arrive 20 minutes later. The menu has many tempting options, and portions are generous. Our favorite choices were Manhattan clam chowder (relished by a New Englander!), chicken breast topped with crabcake, Reuben, burgers, coleslaw, and very good French Fries. Although the place was very busy, waiters were attentive, efficient, and cheerful.
Arlington Diner kindly sponsored the local Mountain Bike race in Glen Park yesterday. The food was fantastic - even better was the friendliness of the hosts. Great food, lovely people. What’s not to like? :-) Thank you!
It's been quite some time since I have been here to eat. Very different . I have a problem with them making toast next to dirty dishes and touching everything. I refused the toast. Hope the back of the kitchen is different. The food was ok.
They managed to squeeze me and my large wheelchair in to a seated area, and the food was excellent and fast and very filling. Prices were right and the staff was very helpful.
I absolutely loved it. I'm a big fan of breakfast and a big fan of diner breakfasts. Arlington was outstanding in both food quality and experience. I'm sure the waitress thought I was nuts when I ordered so much food, but I ate every bite. It was very reasonable and for the amount of food you got, I'd say downright cheap. I'll go out of my way to stop again. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!
Oh my !!! Is all I have to say ???? this place is a little gem ! Here in PA for vac and we saw the reviews and had to check it out. Folks it what it is. Perfect ! Food is really good and I love food ok. The coffee... were coffee people we took some home ! The waitress (we can't remeber her name as we didn't get a receipt ????) she was perfect ! My husband ordered a brisket plate and she said to him,"hope your hungry." She came back and he had eaten it all. She said he was now the 3rd person to have eaten the entire meal ????????♀️ . Folks you gotta check it out if you haven't already. The prices are extremely fair for the portions. I'd definitely recommend this place and I'd come back in a heart beat. Thank you ????
