Loved how nice the staff was. There is nothing better than having amazing customer service! The beef brisket I ordered was impeccable! It was soooo tender and the taste is 100/100!! You can tell this was made with love and passion. From the way it is seasoned - to the tenderness of how perfectly it was cooked. The coleslaw was so fresh with the perfect crunch and delicious amount of sweetness. I am already getting requests to have Arkin’s BBQ for my next event! I am so happy with my experience I will definitely be ordering again!!!!
I ordered dinner and got rib tips, collard greens, and macaroni and cheese. The collard greens were good, but the macaroni and cheese needed something. For a pound of rib tips, they didn't give me any sauce.
Absolutely amazing people! Very attentive, the owner Reem is always smiling!!! The best food... literally always the way to go when you don't feel like cooking. It is very quick and barely wait. Definitely a good recommendation!! Amazing family
I had a mixed experience at Arkins Sweet BBQ Pit. The customer service was just okay—unfortunately, they misplaced my order and made me wait while they argued about why it wasn’t prepared. I was even asked to produce my receipt, which felt unnecessary, as if they didn’t believe me. The food was decent but nothing special, except for the smoked bacon, which was the standout. Overall, not a bad spot, but there’s definitely room for improvement in both service and food quality.

The brisket is fantastic here! I did not even need BBQ sauce. The sides are a good size as well. I had the baked beans and blue cheese coleslaw, which I recommend. No place to sit down and eat though. We ate at the starbucks next door.
I only ordered sides wanted to give it a try before spending a ton of money. $8 for two small sides.
If you like sweet and spicy greens you will enjoy them. Sugar in greens is gross to me but that’s my opinion.
The macaroni and cheese was just ok. The cheese could have been melted more. She told me 12-15 minutes was the wait after I placed my order. Took about 8 minutes.
Maybe they would have been hot had it taken longer.
Based on the sides I’m afraid to try anything else. Eating out is too expensive for you to receive less than delicious food.
100000/100000 The brisket is SOOO good! Ribs meaty and tender. The chicken was good as well. Everyone won't like the cole slaw (but I did lol , it's not the creamy kind) Mac and cheese is decent. Love the potatoes , they were well seasoned. Will definitely be coming back! My only wish is that they add a honey/sweeter BBQ sauce option.
Visiting Detroit. Trying different restaunts. This was a good choice. The Brisket sandwich ( sliced ) was good added the cole slaw to the sandwich it got even better. The Cheesy Jalpeno sausage and Blunt Ends are delicious. The young lady who took my order was pleasant and food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. I will dine with them again.
