They aren’t lying when they claim to have the top rated burger in New Jersey. The port wine cheese burger is absolutely perfect. It’s pretty rare to go to a restaurant and the chef cooks your burger to a perfect medium rare. I will never stop coming to this place and eating this burger. If you’re looking for the best burger in the state, try the port wine cheese burger
I've been coming here since the 80s. Always been good. Until this visit. I ordered shrimp scampi. Came out with no garlic at all. Pasta tasted like lemon juice and was overcooked. Horrible! The server made an excuse that people complained that they had too much garlic so they backed off on it. Seriously, if you don't like heavy garlic, don't order scampi. Had drunken clams which were ok. The broth was a little weak but I enjoyed the clams. Service was sketchy as usual. Was a Monday night and the place was fairly empty. Servers gathered at a table hanging out instead of checking on the tables they had. Did not stay as our visit was lacking.
May be my new favorite spot ! Food was great and hot . Great flavors! Had the specials and he had the infamous burger! The carrot cake was to die for ! And the martinis were perfect . Nothing bad to say ! Can’t wait to go back
The Old Bay shrimp were delicious- butter and Old Bay bring the flavor in these 5 pieces of shrimp appetizer. The port wine cheese burger is out of control- plenty of port wine cheese, sautéed onions, bbq sauce. I like their fries, too. I sprinkled on some Old Bay seasoning. My blueberry vodka mule was very good.
We celebrated my sister's wedding after-party at Ark Pub + Eatery, and it was the perfect choice! The location was ideal, especially since we stayed across the street at the Point Pleasant Manor, allowing everyone to safely walk to and from the party. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. The food and drinks were excellent, and we all had a fantastic time. Highly recommend Ark Pub + Eatery for any celebration or night out!
Best chili I’ve ever had! Better than my own! The drunken clams and bread was perfect. The bartender who was working today was awesome too. My friend really enjoyed his burger as well. Plus it’s just a cool atmosphere
Really enjoyed this shore restaurant. Had a burger and the wife had seafood platter.
I had the award cheeseburger. It was so good and the sweet potato fries were delicious. The salad was just OK, the lettuce was not great. The French onion soup was delicious.
The service was OK. The bartender only ever recognized one of us at a time. My friend would order and instead of also checking with me if I needed anything, I'd have to wait until she came back. It was just not standard service behavior, but with that said, it was just odd, not really bad.
