Sunday
Don’t go by the schedule on Google got here a little past 7pm and the place was closed. Seems like the key holder came late
Past 7:30 PM after giving enough time for them to ‘open’ came in paid the nothing included cover of $10.
Requested a beer (7:40ich) from the bartender to receive a “I am not serving anything until my bar is ready, I came in late” while she is very talkative with other employees- I am still waiting while writing this, it has been over 15 minutes-
The place has a funky old place smell.
If this was my business, a server named “La..” wouldn’t be in my business
This place will explode if a management with experience from other Latin fluent areas were to take on the management
They have an opportunity of a life time
I usually go here for the lessons on Thurs & Sun but this may be last time coming here.
The lessons are affordable $10 to learn. The instructor is great! However, the dance floor is just way too small! It’s gets too crowded to even dance with your partner. You’ll end up bumping shoulder to shoulder to the next couple who are dancing. As well, the ratio of females to males is low. You are better off bringing a female friend with you or you’ll end up dancing by yourself in learning the lesson. Lastly, this seems to be for an older crowd like 45+ yrs old.
Listen, Arjon’s isn’t “bad” per se, but if you’re looking for a Latin club that plays a diverse array of Latin music, reggaeton and music from other cultures this, you’ll prefer other clubs.
Cover is $10 (yes, even for women) and as a woman from the city, I’ll be honest and say I don’t think I’ve ever paid a cover fee. Make of that what you will.
The bar has very limited selections, no special drinks made for and by the bar and doesn’t even serve a lot of the basic mix drinks you’d expect.
I didn’t give a rating for food because no good is served there.
The bartender herself was fantastic, beautiful and had a great attitude. I gave her service five stars and think she could really shine in a craft bar. In fact, her awesome service is the reason I gave the spot 3 stars versus 2.
The people I met here described it as being a Mexican style club that played only traditional Mexican music, which I found to be true.
The age demographic tends to be a bit older so if you fit the demo and want to be amongst a more familiar group, this is the spot for you.
This strikes me almost as a neighborhood bar where most people already know each other and come there frequently.
I met some cool people here but overall, the experience wasn’t at all what I was looking for.
Great place for live music and excellent dance environment
Has potential, but it's absolute trash when it comes to management. The gay elderly couple in the front door should reevaluate their customer service skills. Drinks are weak and on the higher end. Music is mid. There is way better latin clubs around the city, so don't waste your time or money.
Owners earn so much money but but can’t afford security by parking!! My truck got broken into last night, broke my window and they took my cards/IDs, my bag of jewelry I had for over 20 years and many more items I had in there due to recently moving. DONT COME HERE YOUR CAR WILL GET BROKEN INTO. They will do nothing about it either. So heartbroken.
Drinks were good. Not a place for salsa beginners. Wish the dance floor was a little bigger.
The live music was phenomenal! The service was great! The atmosphere was fun! It's a mostly 40-50+ crowd having a great time.
