First impressions of this place wasn’t good. Pulled in and saw blinds looked like they caught fire in a storage room or resort room. Walked into the room on 3rd floor fairly clean and smelled of smoke for a non smoking room???? beds had no comforter had a sheet replacing a fitted sheet and just a sheet on the bed. Very lumpy pillows. Only had 2 of each towel even though was specified we had 4 guests. We stayed for 4 days and had to call and complain about something each day. Each day called cause our cards wouldn’t open the door. Waited hours for us to get extra towels and guy banged on the door around 10-10:30pm. Mini fridge was nice. Heat outdated. Bathroom door handle about to fall off the door. Poor water pressure. 1 trash can in the whole room by the mini fridge. Told 3rd floor was getting tap cards and came home after 9pm to find wood chips all over the floor by the door. Guys said they did their job and it wasn’t their mess to clean up. Very dangerous my child almost slipped on it cause we didn’t see the mess at first. Definitely would not recommend this hotel.
Great room. Extremely clean. Great gaming. My only complaint was a malingering red headed weirdo who asked me to allow him to hide him in my room as he was in fear of a loan shark who was after him. Management said they were aware of the problem and took care of it. Other than that highly recommended.
Positive: Pizza was very good. Antique Mall next store is a must see. For breakfast, we went to the Golden Corral ($11.99) for breakfast. Shouldn't breakfast be part of the resort fee? Air was cold and quiet. Free parking. Negative: A tv that barely worked. No free breakfast. Old fashion toilet that uses a lot of water. YOU ARE IN A DESERT. Cigarette smoke from the elevator every time its door opened on the floor. Checking in a smoked filled casino. Your resort tax (what do we get?).
Family from out of town and just went to play bingo. We are completely newbies to the game (we know bingo but definitely not like the regulars). It was a lot of fun and even won $200.00!!! Beginner's luck maybe... Lots of fun!!
Booked a room cause it was close to our family in town. The hotel advertised new updated rooms and states it’s family friendly. the minute you walk in to check in its smoky how is that family friendly? the hotel was dirty and staff was not helpful even the manager was rude. The rooms looked nothing like the picture. The rooms are very run down. We stayed in no smoking and it still smelled like smoke. The lamps had electrical tape all over the cord. save you money and book somewhere else.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. A LAWYER WILL BE INCONTACT ABOUT THIS MATTER
I, Nicholas Chappell, checked into the hotel around 3:30 PM. Prior to my arrival, i informed the front desk, security, and the hotel manager about my service dog. Despite this, during check-in, they questioned him again about his service dog and its purpose. I explained why i required the service dog and provided information about my registration.
Later, at approximately 5:41 PM, security called me again to ask additional questions about his service dog, once more inquiring about the necessity of the animal. By 8:50 PM, when i returned to my room, i discovered that my key had been deactivated. Upon approaching the front desk for assistance, i was informed that the manager and security had decided they no longer wanted me or my service dog on the property.
When i requested contact information for the manager, the staff refused to provide it. Furthermore, the hotel made no effort to communicate their decision between 5:41 PM, when they last spoke to him, and 8:50 PM, when he returned.
This series of events raises serious concerns about the handling of this situation and the treatment of guests with service animals.
When we go to Las Vegas. At least once a month. The rooms are decent. We usually get comped a 2 day stay. It's not a 5 star hotel but for free a great value. And the rates aren't bad.
AFFORDABLE, SMOKEY HOTEL! I love Arizona Charlie's even though it's unpredictable at this location. Sometimes I get a strong cigar odor and sometimes I don't. Today, it smelled and I didn't care for that. I was even eating at the Sourdough Cafe and I could still smell residual smoke from the casino floor.
Other than that, I still continue to visit this casino because it has great food and prices for families/seniors. It's also very accessible and easy to find. Need a hotel away from the strip? This is a solid option.
I was a little disappointed that the gift shop was closed all morning, it's a bit of an inconvenience to guests and visitors. I wanted to buy some merch and it was totally pitch black in the store. Hoping we get extended gift shop hours?
