Stayed here with a girlfriend for a long weekend and cannot say enough good things. The whole place scream luxury and you are well taken care of throughout your stay. All of the staff was so kind and accommodating but we especially loved Austin who took great care of us at the pool. The spa is next level relaxing and pampering. I hope to return ASAP!
The Arizona Biltmore is a large, gorgeous resort. I loved my stay there since there were so many pools and dining options to enjoy/explore. The grounds are well maintained, the staff displayed excellent customer service (especially poolside), and the room was huge and comfortable. Each day there was something new to do.
I will say that pricing for food/drinks is on the higher side for some reason. Also, some bars and parts of the resort were constantly occupied by many people, mostly part of a convention, which I found inconvenient. Overall, it's a memorable historical hotel that is perfect for a vacation.
I recently stayed at the Arizona Biltmore in connection with a conference. While the grounds of the resort were beautiful, they were a bit too expansive for a conference. There was a long walk everywhere (e.g., conference space, hotel rooms, especially the villas) and you just got the sense you were missing fellow attendees because the space was so massive (e.g., two ships passing in the night). ||Housekeeping works hard, but their timing was inconsistent. They didn't turn up the first day because I left my room around noon and they skipped my room and said they would double-back in the afternoon, but they never did. Other days they would try to clean the room very early in the morning (when you were just getting out of bed). Room service trays languished in the hallways for collection. At first blush, this does not scream 'luxury'/high end property. |||The real highlight was the fitness center and the tennis program, led by tennis pro, Brendan Easterling. I take regular tennis lessons at my local club, and if I could in some way recruit him for my club, I would. I schedule a 60-minute lesson with Brendan, and even in that short amount of time, I felt like I 'upped' my game. Brendan asks really insightful questions at the start to assess not only your skill level, but what your goals are for the lesson. And during the lesson, he was friendly and focused when it came to providing expert feedback. To further support his guidance, and this is what I found endearing even, was that Brendan has a robust binder of photos of tennis pros and their various playing styles to underscore that there is no 'right way to play tennis'. ||Lastly, the fitness center is top notch and has any equipment that you would want to use while traveling.
5 star resort in the desert but close to great retail shops and activities! The resort has many restaurants to choose from but the $125 per day Citrus Lounge Access is well
worth it. The Citrus Lounge is adults only great food and drinks all day long. Hana makes the best key lime martini with a beautiful smile! Room service is great too! Hiking nearby and activities for everyone. Jose makes the best Long Island's and is eager to please! This is my winter go-to!
Went with my brother from nyc to visit an uncle in arizona. Never been to phoenix. Figured we woukd make it into a luxury bro vacation for 4 days. The hotel is billed as luxury and the price for a room(800 to 1k) matches the expectation. The hotel is very nice but is not over the top. The decor is nice, service average, resteraunts average, pool average, drinks average. The price though, is way above average. Nothing was above average and so the price paid did not make it worth it. Also, unless you are a hear for an event, there is not much to do. The city is vert quite with no great attractions, night life, or vibe.
Spent a lovely few days at the Arizona Biltmore in November 2024. The grounds, staff, amenities are all lovely. I cannot say enough about the customer service from the front desk to the restaurant and bar staff to the cleaning staff to the grounds staff to the spa and gym; they all are true customer service professionals. The cleaning staff were some of the best we've experienced lately in an area that seems to be slipping at other resorts. I've read some reviews that the spa staff are chilly, but I experienced only a welcoming atmosphere on what was a very stressful day for many people. And I will forever remember yoga classes with Vicki -- her ability to connect with guests who she will only meet once or twice is a true gift. Even our son was entertained by all the pools and was able to use the gym, and he's a teen so very little impresses him. We did upgrade to a patio with a fire pit, which gave us some room to spread out and to especially enjoy a few relaxing evenings. Truly a special place.
Room was beautiful - the staff everywhere (front desk, spa, salon, citrus club, restaurant, bar) all were spectacular just some of the best all around customer service. The only ????????is the food. Tried both restaurants, the bar food, everything was blah. The best food was the snacks at the citrus club. Grounds were massive but well kept. Would stay again for an event but probably not for a personal stay like we did this time. Not walkable to anything but enjoyed walking around the neighborhood it’s in. Loved the bikes and pools. Visited the salon to get an updo for a formal event I was attending and Meagan did an awesome job. Rating 4 just for the customer service but really it would be a 3 star rating.
We stayed at the Arizona Biltmore over the Thanksgiving Holiday and the Grounds, Rooms, and Customer Service was great. We really enjoyed our time there. Only thing to know before going is that the drinks are overpriced so be prepared to pay a higher then normal price for those. Outside of that, the place is beautiful and staff are friendly and helpful.
