We were celebrating my youngest daughter's 22nd birthday and everyone was served except for her. Our dishes came one or two at a time, her's NEVER came. My mom finally went to ask about it and it had been just sitting and waiting. My daughter said she saw it sitting there. The food was good though. I would go back with hopes of a better outcome.
I have to say that I have been to many sushi places and this place is by far the worst. Spicy edamame was horrible and didn't have any taste and was a waste of money. Super Mario roll was not good at all mushrooms ???? gross didn't taste anything like normal .. the roll it self just coming out and placed on table already could tell it was poorly made ...
The poppers had very little crab meat and put so much sauce that you couldn't even taste no crab meat but just sauce .. wouldn't come back here again.
Sake bombs were horrible, not sure what beer was used but it was bland and just didn't have any good taste.
Never will come here again.
Arigato sushi at sunrise is way better and delicious..
Can't get enough of this place. Used to go to Ninja on a weekly basis, but this place.. PERFECT! My son loves it!
Had a Special Dinner with My Close Friend to Celebrate My Birthday. Food was so good. I also love pretty food. The dinner made my day. I had been to this place once before on a date but, didn't get to really focus much on the restaurant service and food. I was more concerned about how crowded and popular it was & whether or not we'd have a table. This time everything was perfect. This is the Howe location which is said to be one of the best sushi restaurants in Sacramento. I highly recommend this place.
Visited Arigato on a Wednesday afternoon, wasn't too so there wasn't a wait to be seated. Great service, brought water right away and took drink order. Sushi rolls are flavorful and unique. The shrimp tempura was crispy and delicious. The sashimi dinner came with miso soup and a salad. The fish was clean and fresh.
We are visiting from out of town. Friends suggested we try Arigato Sushi. We Love it!! Food was served promptly. Server was super friendly. Gave us info on the most ordered rolls.
Tv available to watch sports. Menu has 1/2 priced rolls that will not dissapooint. Absolutely delicious. Plenty of seating. We had dinner around 6pm and we were seated right away. Plenty of parking available.
We tried the Lucky7, Arigato, and Teardrop Rolls.
Our go to sushi place and no one makes the stuffed jalapeños like they do. Can't get enough of Arigato's.
Love the nigiri, sashimi, maki rolls and deep fried rolls. The baked salmon roll (lion?) is to die for, baked green mussels, best tasting miso around.
If your feeling frisky get a sake bomb and my personal choice for beer is Asahi. Love the hot tea and spicy edamame too!
If you prefer cooked foods they have all kinds of bento type dinners as well, anything in tempura you'll never be sorry.
Been a huge fan and customer many years but this is my first review!
Arigato's is affordable and the taste is high end. Expect to be deliciously happy!
Came with a group of 4. In my opinion, closer to a 3.5 star meal, but rounding to 4.
We ordered:
-sake bomb pitcher: good to share with a group
-spicy edamame: perfect amount of spice, not too saucey
-ika ring: wouldn't recommend, tasted more like fish paste rings
-3 item bento (beef teriyaki, sashimi, tonkatsu) Staff forgot to give salad and soup, so I had to ask for it. Not a fan of the tonkatsu. Too thin and overcooked. Sashimi was ok, would have been nice to get other cuts of fish besides tuna.
-stuffed mushroom: good
Rolls: james bond, double spicy, galleria, maui, lucky 7. On the menu it does mention they are 50% off, so the rolls are on the cheaper side.
Lots of seating inside.
Parking in the plaza is easy to get as well.
