Really fun and entertaining experience, took the wife and two kids here, ages 13 and 7. Both picky eaters and each found they loved the meal(or parts that they would try) haha. Ordered cocktails and they were great not too much, all in all very good meal only 4 star on service because kept finding breakdown in communication between servers and entertaining chefs.
The food was excellent. First time going here for a birthday celebration. We had a reservation but still waited in the holding area about an hour. I thought this was odd, it would be nice to have a waiter working the holding area we would have ordered drinks. The building is in pretty rough condition. Decent service all around. Not sure the price equals the experience you get. 10/10 for the food absolutely wonderful, that’s really where they made up for the other shortfalls.
I've been to many hibachi restaurants, but I have never had an experience like this one. We didn't even make it to our drinks or food before cutting the cord on this place. We waited over an hour to be seated, fine it was busy, then almost 20 minutes before being asked about drinks or food. Unacceptable. I saw neighboring tables with the same frustrations. The tables were crammed packed and uncomfortable. As I was taking in the atmosphere, I happened to look down at the menu and noticed fine print. 15 percent automatic charge on all cards, 4 dollar charge if you want to share a plate or simply sit. Absolutely atrocious. I asked one of the staff members, who was nice, what's up with the 15 percent charge. They claimed it's for the chefs and servers. I said I understood, but that's really up to the customer to leave that gratuity. They even agreed.
No doubt in my mind the owners are skimming customers cards and not paying their workers tips. Greed and poor practices also leads to terrible food.
Don't waste your time
we came for a birthday dinner; our reservation was at 8pm we didn’t get sat until 8:45 it took until 9pm to get drinks and salads. the chef didn’t interact with us at all. food was good but definitely will not be returning. don’t come here if you want it to be a special night
I love eating here, I can say it is my most favorite restaurant to eat at , the food is always great to me although the parking lot is a tad bit small we always find a spot to park and you'll be better off making reservations for the day you want to attend . They also have a good bar making good drinks
This place was absolutely wonderful. Went with the family and they had a great time. We were sat with 2 other parties to make a total of 10 people to the table and it was still enjoyable completely. The food was amazing, everything was cooked perfectly and the portions were massive. Almost everyone had leftovers, and lots of them. I had the shrimp and salmon and I have zero complaints. My fiance had ribeye and grouper and he loved it so much. I can't wait to come back here!
Full transparency. I went to this restaurant for a family celebration knowing I'm allergic to shellfish. We mention it to the waitress, she explained the chef would accommodate and cook my meal first. Apparently the "head chef" refused to cook my meal separately and canceled my meal with out informing anyone. *also had the soup spilled in my lap by the waitress and very very noisey* Do not recommend although, it's safe to say I left with a clean plate.
Celebrated my son's birthday with his wife and had the best filet mignon and shrimp dinner cooked right in front of us. We had a reservation and were called in to be seated on time. Very efficient friendly service and delicious food !
