Best WLM Reviews
My partner and I, both from Connecticut and New York, were blown away by how authentic this Italian restaurant felt! It was our first time at the location, and from the moment we stepped in, the ambience completely transported us to Italy. The cozy, intimate setting, paired with the subtle charm of the decor, made for an unforgettable dining experience.
The service was beyond amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Every dish we tried was full of rich, traditional flavors that reminded us of the best Italian spots in the city. We left feeling excited and completely fulfilled. We will definitely be returning! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Italian experience!
We saw this restaurant (Ariani Ristorante) on this food group and decided to give it a try last night for dinner. We arrived about 6 pm, it wasn't too busy, but they looked to have a good dinner service while we were there. We sat at the bar (full alcohol bar) and Heather took great care of us. They provided a free bread and butter course. The bread was excellent, I forgot to ask if it was made in-house or not. But it reminded us both of the bread from Amighetti's in St. Louis. Crispy, and light. We split the Ceasar salad and it was nicely dressed (we added the anchovies). It was very good. My wife got the appetizer portion of the eggplant Parmesan (it's a half portion, and doesn't have the pasta or spinach the dinner portion does), and she said it was excellent. I tried it and agreed. Thin slices of eggplant, sliced lengthwise. Sauce was light and very tasty. I got the penne Padrino (garlic and olive oil with broccoli and mushrooms, I added grilled chicken). It too was excellent. This place had been in business for over 35 years, and I can see why. I wish we would have tried it sooner, it was an overall great experience. Staff was friendly, service was prompt, decor was "old school" (think Frank walking by) but attractive and clean, prices were good and the food was very tasty! We're definitely coming back!
Perfect place for a romantic dinner! It was our anniversary and they sang to us a gave us cake!???? They even had a vegan pasta dish on the menu!????
Old school relaxing meal! Will definitely be returning when we have a craving for Italian
Update: 8/13...2nd visit...sat at the bar. Met the owner Dario....we a treat! Loved everything about the evening. The ppl we met at the bar, the food was plentiful and DELICIOUS! Desert was a chocolate tini!
New favorite place for Italian
We arrived 20 minutes before closing and were greeted by the owner who graciously insisted we were not too late to have dinner. Yari , our server was amazing! The food was exceptional and we were treated as if we were family. Thank you to everyone working tonight that made our experience so memorable, we will definitely be back!
Wow, not only the most amazing food (and I’m from Brooklyn/Queens), but the waitress Yari was above and beyond! She made our night so spectacular and was the BEST waitress we have ever had! Not only was she very informative and accommodating, but she wrapped our take out in Saran Wrap and walked us out! Getting to the food , absolutely amazing! Being Italian, the idea of Marsala and fettuccine Alfredo together kind of turned my stomach, but being open minded and the fact it’s their signature dish, I tried and it was absolutely amazing! Hubby had a fish dish and the clams/calamari was cooked to perfection! I never even order dessert, but Yari convinced us to try and boy was it delicious! Pistachio cheesecake was out of this world and the best most fresh tiramisu! This place is the closest restaurant I have been to in Swfl to NYC standards!! Can’t wait to go back! Great job guys!! Thank you for an amazing evening!
I have been a fan of Dario and Alice for over 10 years
