This restaurant was a lucky find while passing through Charlotte. The bartender, Timothy, was incredibly knowledgeable about the dishes and the wine. Service was great! The food was fantastic. We had caramelized gnocchi, Caesar salad, olive oil cake and Cannelloni Delle Mamma - all very tasty! The dishes were on the small side, which is great when traveling so you don’t feel like you have to either eat it all or take a box. Definitely recommend!

This pizza was literally the best I've ever had. The place was cool, we just sat like a foot away from the other people on either side of us. Everything that came out of the kitchen to our close neighbors looked impeccable!
Great food in a wonderful ambiance. Within walking distance from most hotels and parking decks in downtown. Our waiter Enzo was very friendly and cordial. A good stop before attending an event at nearby venues. Reservations advised.
Came during Charlotte’s restaurant week, so they had a deal going on. The gnocchi appetizer was amazing! I would get it again! The orecchiette pasta and sausage was also good. The Sicilian cheesecake was good, but nothing novel.
Aria is, by far, one of my TOP Italian restaurants, ever! We accidentally ran into it while walking around the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina. THE FOOD, THE SERVICE, THE DRINKS!
FOOD: I ordered lamb and risotto, my husband ordered chicken Parmigiano and gnocchi with pears.
The food is fresh! They hand make all the pasta and everything taste so so fresh! The bartender, Timothy, was more welcoming than any other bartender we've ever encountered.
We sat at the bar because we didn't make reservations but honestly, that didn't matter. Everything was perfect!
Exquisite‼️ I’m so impressed with the Italian cuisine. Luke our waiter has been amazing and we absolutely love the atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
Uptown Italian place with a decent wine list. Dishes from Tuscany and the rest of Italy. Scallops were top; try the orecchiette.
