Best WLM Reviews
My daughter frequents this restaurant and loves it so much!! This was my 1st time there, and I see why she loves it! The food is fresh, hot, and tasty! The service is great! Quick and polite! The atmosphere feels cozy, like you're with friends. I enjoyed everything about it and look forward to going again soon!
This place has the most freshest, hottest, most delicious food imaginable, with a great atmosphere and delightful and courteous staff. The arepas and empanadas are the best and most authentic I've ever had. The fresh passionfruit juice was amazing, and the cappuccino was so flavorful! I'm definitely coming back for more!
Love arepa Mia! The yuca fries are a must try. You can’t go wrong with any of the arepas, but my favorite is la pelua. The outdoor seating is so nice.
A gem in the heart of Avondale Estates. Arepa Mia has garnered strong popularity over the years, all for the right reasons. The menu is customizable and extensive. There's something for everyone. The ambiance is lively, and there is a patio as well. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table.
The arepas and cachapas are our go-to choices. The arepas are savory, whereas the cachapas are sweet and savory. The arepas are big! One arepa and +/- a side is good for one person. If you're up for the challenge, you can ask for their hot sauce on the side. They have several alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. We really enjoy the fresh fruit juices (we love the soursop!).
Parking is limited. There is a parking lot across the street, and (very) limited street parking around the corner on College Avenue. In the lot across the street, be careful not to park in the parking spots reserved for Second Life Thrift.
**Negatives:**
The restaurant has a trendy atmosphere, but the food does not live up to the hype. The meat dishes we tried were tasteless, with no discernible flavor. To add insult to injury, the prices are quite high, with a simple Coke costing an exorbitant $4.95.
**Positives:**
On the plus side, the restaurant does have a stylish, modern vibe that may appeal to some diners looking for a trendy dining experience. However, the quality of the food and the steep prices make it difficult to recommend this establishment.
Just moved back to Atlanta after four years, and this was an immediate destination. As someone with severe Celiac, a dedicated GF restaurant is always on this list. To be able to freely eat authentic Venezuelan food sourced locally and organically is a joy to be had. The seasonal vegetables, the daily specials, and the core menu are all hits, so come back many times and try as much as you can.
Been here twice for company lunches. This place is really good. Anything on the menu sticks out. No wonder this place was recommended by the Michelin guide. I ordered "Arepa Asado Negro" and "Arepa Pernil" and neither missed. Have also gotten several of the appetizers. All really good, including "yuca frita", arepitas, and tostones. The hot sauces are good here too! Don't have many pictures since it was company lunch
Great food. I’m gonna leave it at that. Not sure you can go wrong here if you tried. The decode is upbeat and very Argentinian ???? Service is great. We went between lunch and dinner service so seating wasn’t an issue either. Big patio and indoor seating as well. Full bar. I had the fresh sardine arepa special and it was great. Yucca frites, papas frites, pork empanadas were all good. Can’t wait to go back and explore more of the menu.
