My server Donovan was awesome. His personality was genuine and authentic and that helped make the night more enjoyable. A majority of the TVs were tuned to Sunday Night Football so the game could be viewed from anywhere.
The side salad was a light way to start the evening and was the perfect size for the price. All of the ingredients tasted bright and fresh. The lettuce was crisp and clean.
Donovan recommended the grilled wings and they did not disappoint! These wings were so juicy and tender that I could slurp the meat right off the bone. The original BBQ was EXCELLENT! It reminded me a little bit of the red sauce Arby's with just the right amount of sweetness and acidity. My picky critique here is that on these grilled wings there was almost zero char. A slight crispy char on the asking would take my these wings to the perfect tier.
I paired an order of onion rings with my wings. These onion rings came out piping hot and SUPER CRISPY! The rings had the right amount of breadding and the order was easily big enough for 2 people. I recommend dipping the onion rings in the bbq sauce. I look forward to watching more sporting events at Arena. Thank you for such an excellent experience.
My husband and I were looking forward to enjoying a late lunch break around 1p here today. Since we knew we didn't have much time we called ahead, about an hour ahead and placed our order to be ready for dine in at 1p.
I arrived at 1p and waited 8min for service. The lunch rush has already left and there were only a few tables. When the server came by finally I let her know we placed a call ahead order but we would like to order drinks. She came back with drinks after serving another table drinks first and no food. At this point it was 1:12. I asked how much longer the food would be at which point she went to check & came back with a portion of our food, missing our side, & of course it had been sitting there since 1p or sooner clearly it was not fresh.
Then, when we went to pay (after waiting a very long time and watching the server buss tables before working on guests that were clearly waiting on her with stacked plates she gave us the wrong bill, which we unfortunately neglected to check before handing a card since we were already frustrated and short on time, & charged us an order that was almost double our bill.
They did void it after being brought to our attention however we are disappointed in the entire experience. We were hopeful to enjoy a nicer lunch than fast food for our break, we usually really enjoy arena, maybe we made the wrong choice here. Not a good experience.
This is perfect for a good get togethers. Crowd is nice as-well. 2 pool tables available. Servers are very quick. ???? karaoke is fun
Four of my friends and I went to Arena Bar & Grill this afternoon, Wednesday 7/31. We chose to sit outside on the patio because it was a nice. The food and service were above average. But there was an obnoxious group of 10 profane men that were so loud we couldn't have a normal conversation at our table. After about an hour of this loud profanity, I politely asked the gentlemen if they could hold down the volume and profanity. They said they would , which lasted all of 2 minutes. Then things got even louder and the profanity was every other word. I confronted them again and what the said was they "were here everyday. This is our place. If you don't like it then leave." Apparently the management at Arena Bar & Grill don't care if this group of 10 people are severely loud and profane. Apparently they allow this group to "Own" the outside dining area and could care less that these infantile loud mouths drive off their customers. Well, our group of (5) were driven off, and we won't be returning. If the ownership of Arena has no problem with this group of obnoxious jerks, then they don't deserve our patronage. I would not recommend anyone sitting on the patio between 4:30pm 8:00pm, and I am not giving Arena Bar & Grill a positive review because they make no attempt to control infantile, loud, profane behavior.
Always a lot of hype from friends about this place. This was my 5th or 6th time here and just can't seem to make a connection with the place. Unless you're sitting at or near the rail it's "just a place". I've had times where the food is really really good and times where it's just average and once when the pizza tasted and looked like it sat in back for a while. Service, however, has never been an issue. Always quick and courteous.
Happening bar with a good weekend crowd. Service was pretty good considering how busy it was. Food was typical bar food. Really good beer and food prices.
Amazing Champion Grinder. 6 of us each ordered a different meal. Each one looked delicious! Everyone enjoyed the evening. Place was packed but service was great. Mallory was our server and she did a super job. The prices are comparable to other places but not as expensive as most.
Solid spot. Always busy. Even when the food doesn't my flavor pallet the quality is still great.
