Very interesting place. Arrived before opening and there was a decent line but the line moves quickly once they open. They are searching bags only here and a metal detector. You do not need your ticket out at this time. Bathrooms as soon as you enter are small but there are others in the building. There are a few stores and then all the attractions. Well worth the visit.
Such an awesome place!! The omega mart was incredible, a very unique experience. Just make sure you have a few hours as it's huge! The VR experience was great too. There are also multiple bars and other things to do, you can definitely spend a long time here and not get bored.
Very pricey, but this is truly a unique and memorable experience! It’s almost like you’re in the world of Ratchet and Clank or the Stray video game. You could honestly have fun just walking around and exploring the area for free, but if you’d like to do any of the activities they’ll definitely add up in price. They do sell packages for activities, but they can be upwards of a couple hundred dollars per person. The staff are really nice and will happily take photos for you, as there are a ton of photogenic areas. They have a restaurant inside that we didn’t try, so I can’t speak on it, but it looked really interesting with the projected flames on the walls. A bar is across from the restaurant, under the illuminating tree. They also have a spray on tattoo station with tons of styles available. And there are also various gift shops that sell everything from souvenirs and retro candy to toys and rave gear. You could easily spend a lot of time in Area15 and have an absolute blast!
First, I’ll state that this place can be very overwhelming. Truly sensory overload at times. That said, it is unique, and as others have mentioned, expensive. To get in is free but to participate in the experiences, you have to pay. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to explore. If you want to do the scavenger hunt, allot even more time. I would recommend not purchasing tickets prior to your visit. Go here, check the vibe, see what might be of interest to you, and then purchase passes. Come here ready to explore!
4 of us visited on a Saturday for around 11am, I recommend going for opening time, less people and less children running in your way.
The main reason we visited was for Omega Mart. We all had a really great time. There is definitely a story behind it, we think the woman got abducted by aliens and Omega Mart is us in their world. It took us about 2 hours to get through, but if we really tried to figure out the story line more it would have definitely been a lot longer.
Some rooms were very interactive, other were just beautiful and very zen!
Definitely take a trip and visit, I don't think you will be disappointed!
Went for a family-friendly experience with kids 9 and 11. They loved it. I think for adults, taking part in solving the mystery would make it much more enjoyable. We spent about 1.5 hours just looking around but can see how you can deep dive and spend more time. For us, it was a bit pricey for the interest level of our kids ($200 for 4)
Wild, Wild, Wild!
We once on Friday during the day and there was no queue to get in and for the daytime sessions you don’t need a ticket. Truly one of the most overwhelming, fun, wild experiences of my life. Entry to the venue is free but there are so many different activities you can do , inside which have costs. We just did the VR particle chaser with my son which was so much fun and took about 40 minutes to complete. There are quite a few restaurants and bars as well as the famous supermarkets experience. The pictures don’t really capture just how wild and fun it is but highly recommended!
Great place to explore and it’s fun for all ages and groups. They have tickets for certain entertainment and look in advance to the items you want to adventure in. There were other buildings that look amazing to see but ran out of time. The Omega Mart seems to be one of the best places to check out. Totally recommend and 100 percent enjoyment.
