I actually booked this on a hotel website. The other reviews on here don't give the place justice. It's VERY quaint, clean, and I felt very safe as a single female traveler. They have limited check-in hours, from 2-6pm, but if you're arriving outside that time, arrange it with Vicki at the office. Also check out time is 9am, which is typical for vacation rentals.|||| When you come in, the first driveway and keypad didn't work for me, but there's another one a few more feet down that worked every time. I found my cottage, came in the door, and the key was on the storage bin in the middle of the living room.|||| My first impression was this place was spacious, cozy, warm, with plenty of closet space and cabinets. They have a full kitchen with every utensil imaginable, plus toaster and coffee maker. The TV in the living room was more app based, but there's free channels too if you keep poking around with the remote. The TV in the bedroom only had 4 channels, 2 Spanish language channels, and 2 Christian channels. Weird. Each cottage had their own wifi which was great, nice strong signal.|||| It's your typical vacation rental. So there's some things they have, and there's other things they don't have. There was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and liquid hand soap, but no Kleenex, bar soap, or hair dryer. Luckily, they were on sale at Walgreens, but it was still and inconvenience to leave in the morning to get one.|||| I didn't actually meet the office staff until the day before I left. They seem to get a lot of people in between homes, and it appeared as if someone overstayed their welcome. So they seem to change the gate code frequently.|| Nothing is within walking distance, and the place is surrounded by RV sales lots, so to get decent food, you have to drive a bit or get groceries. If you don't have a car, nothing is within walking distance except a Carls Jr.|||| But it was still nice to have a place to myself. The bedding was soft and warm, and the heater worked well but was very VERY loud. Basically, it was either the heater or the TV. The fridge was loud too. And at night there seemed to be all sorts of things that bumped in the night.|| || It it was still nice at night to sit in the living room and was Netflix. This place was nice and cozy and I would stay here again.
Whoever decided to turn a little mobile home park into a little hotel, is a genius. I've only been in two of the many units they have on the property. And from what I can see from the outside, I'm sure that every little mobile home is different. There are one, two and three bedroom units available also there is one with a loft as well. Great experience. The only thing I can complain about is the check out. Most p,aces, check out is at 11 am. Check out here is at 9 am, but they don't seem to rush anyone out. Management is very respectful, keel their distance and respect our privacy. Highly recommend, for the experience alone, the price and everything about it, 100% worth the money.
This place was exactly what we needed for an unexpected hospital stay in Sacramento. The value for price paid was amazing, much better than any hotel! Gated property with cameras outside so we felt very safe. It's clean, quiet, and convenient with a full kitchen minus a stove which was not necessary anyway. They have dishware, a toaster and a coffee maker with coffee packets, cream and sugar provided. There's a place for all of your clothes if it's an extended stay like ours and the bed and pillows were comfy! Heat and AC work perfectly and kick in fast! Nice TVs with cable in living room and bedroom; DVD player provided too. Laundry room in the center of the property. The staff members are super nice, Vicki was so accommodating, she is awesome!! This place is a diamond in the rough!
I wish cabins like this were available in every major city! You have the whole building to yourself, no worries about sharing a wall or ceiling with other guests — very quiet and intimate. Full kitchen means you save money on eating out, and having a separate bedroom means you don't disturb your partner if you stay up late in the living room while they sleep in the back. Plus it's pet friendly!
Honestly I will have to say that these cottages are awesome sauce. I was looking at the reviews and I was seeing some people saying negative things about the cottages. This is an secure nice old d ditch a gate code . I’ve never had any problems while staying at this location . The beds are very comfortable. I stayed in a one bedroom with my son and he absolutely loves it . They have Netflix that's already login. Two TVs one in the room & one in the living room. They have dishes already in place with you . Vicki the owner is great responder . Anytime I get a place there. She reply’s back in a timely manner with my cottage number and letting me know where I could find keys . Check out is at 9 and if you need to more towels you have to request in the morning. When housekeeping is there. I’ve never had a problem with locks or with the door . Everything is pretty safe and secure . I’ve never walked into a dirty cottage or anything of that nature.
Excellent value/bang-for-your-buck; the units are comfortable, cozy, clean and up to date. Would be five stars had it not been for the rude property manager and the technically-posted-but-easy-to-miss checkout time of 9am (yuck, minus one star). Also docking a star for deceptive “extended stay” branding of a trailer park.
This place is Awesome! A diamond in the ruff. We celebrated my mothers 85th Birthday and our family members had different cottages. We had such a great time exploring each others cottages and we created wonderful memories.
Vicky is an Amazing woman. She has made us so comfortable. She provided a space for our family to gather. We played pool, shot darts, played cards, barbecued in a well lite area with pretty lights. She has a beautiful personality, pleasant and very attentive, she really cares.
The prices are unbelievable, two of our family members stayed extra days because it was so peaceful and affordable. You must try it.
