I got what I ordered, but I sat in the drive thru for 5 minutes and didn’t get any response, I drive around to the window to see if something was wrong, and I could see the workers in the managers room and they weren’t working. then I drove to the parking lot and tried to enter the building and it was locked even though the hours say it’s been open for an hour already. Finally I went through the drive through again and finally was able to order
What happened? I worked at Arctic Circle in high school as the grill cook. The food was so much better then. Now, it costs disproportionately more for lower quality and smaller portions. It's sadly common with most fast food chains. Also, this store seems to get my order wrong too frequently. Check your order before leaving the store.
I wasn’t expecting much with it being fast food and all but that was definitely one of the worst fast food burgers I’ve had. I don’t eat fast food very often so maybe I’ve just forgotten how bad it can be. I ordered the 1/4 lb angus burger and it seemed smaller than 1/4 lb. All the toppings were low quality and just thrown on and smothered in too much ketchup and mayo. The fries were great though. If this wasn’t fast food I’d be giving it a 1 star.
I was impressed with the service personally. The young man who took my order immediately interacted with me even if to say he'd help me in a minute, since he was finishing something. He helped me, and once the food was done he brought it to me, which isn't super common for a fast food. Then while I was eating he asked me by name (he remembered it from my order), if I needed anything. Then when I left he said thanks for coming, again using my name. So I was impressed.
The food was good, what you'd expect from Arctic Circle. I'd come to this location again, even though I don't live out here.
Combo number 8 was delicious. Plus we got samples of vanilla ice cream. The place is new and very clean, family friendly.
Got two cheeseburgers in the drive through, I live less than 3 minutes away. When I got home, the cheeseburgers were less than room temperature. Cheese wasn't melted, it's like they pulled them out of the fridge and served them. Serving hot food is about as basic as it gets. You could tell from holding the cheeseburger through the package that it was cold. Should be hard to miss. Warmed them up in the microwave and ate them, but microwaved lettuce is nasty. Please do better Arctic Circle.
It really looks as if they are trying to do a good job with the food. The chocolate shake tasted like stirred chocolate ice cream— not the best. There was trash on the floor at this location (Eagle Mountain), and I would be surprised if there was a clean table in the place. I finally gave up looking for a clean table and washed one with some napkins and water from the soda machine
Despite the name, the building for Arctic Circle is in fact rectangular. Square if we are being generous. We won’t even talk about how disappointing that this location is in fact in Eagle Mountain, instead of the advertised “Arctic”. We won’t let that detail ruin the rest of my week: let’s talk about the food. It’s aight. Shakes are pretty good! Zack signing off.
