Cherri was so sweet and welcoming. After traveling from Alaska I can honestly say this was the nicest spot so far. We have 2 dogs with us and it was so nice to let them stretch their legs in the fenced in dog park. Archway is clean with trees for shade, and all the amenities you will need. There are tons of restaurants just up the road as well as a gas station and Walmart. I'm so happy we stopped here on our way to Kentucky! I will remember this stop in our future travels! I highly recommend Archway RV Park!
Great spot to overnight with very easy access to Interstate 64. Clean, spacious bath house with handicapped access. Dog park was big and clean with two separate areas. Some shaded sites, a large pavilion, small gazebo, playground and laundry room. Sites are long, very level, mostly pull-thrus. Looks like plenty of shopping and gas nearby with a Tractor Supply right across the road. We paid $55 with the Good Sam discount.
Wow!!! What a great place to stay. We were there six nights and had no issues at all. The dog park is BIG. My two orange hooligans really enjoyed it. The staff was considerate and helpful. I worked every day and had no issues with Wi-Fi. Even the water tasted good! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay there.
Despite all the reviews saying this is big rig friendly, we did not find this to be the case. We’re a 45ft Class A towing an F150 and just barely fit in their longest pull through (I was nervous we’d get clipped because we were hanging out about 1 ft on both the front and back of the site). We were not able to hook up sewer without detaching our tow vehicle/ parking it in front of the RV, because the sewer outlet was about 30ft away with the tow attached. Also, the trees and shrubbery are beautiful but they’re so close to the ends of the site that getting out of the site became an obstacle course for a rig our size. The ground (gravel sites with grass) was muddy from rain, with lots of ruts. It was a nice park with great, friendly service. Just not the place for a quick overnight if you’re a large rig towing a vehicle or trailer, due to logistics.
The attendants were so kind and incredibly helpful. We are new RV owners and stopped at Archway RV Park to dump our tanks for the first time ever… they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and took the time to show us how to do it. So nice. It is Conveniently located just off the highway but set back far enough to to feel removed from the main road. They have a lovely little playground for our kids to enjoy during our quick stop. Thank you so much!!!
We called a couple hours in advance of arriving to see if the park had any availability. They had 2 available. So we reserved one. We arrived late evening. The lady Lauren was very welcoming and very pleasant to work with. She greeted us at the entrance even though it was beyond closing time. She helped guide us to our spot. The place was well kept. We loved their small playground. It was perfect for our toddler. He was overly thrilled when he saw it. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here. It was easy to get to right off the highway, easy to navigate through, the sites are mostly pull through. It was pretty peaceful setting and didn't hear road noise. If we head back in that direction I'd stay there again.
Very convenient RV park. All pull through, level sites. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Bathhouse was clean. Easy off and on highway. Numerous stores and restaurants in the area. Dog friendly park. Playground is available for children and is well maintained.
We stayed a month, but it's really an overnight stay. I was unaware at the time of reservation that all lots were buddy lots (they face each other and you share utilities with the person behind you). Several times our power was shut off but other people hooking up or leaving because they didn't know what they were doing. Not much to do in the area, they do have a city run water park that's cool and a sculpture park downtown that they do events at.
