Gem of a spot. Coffee, food, drinks ... even the house wine is all spectacular. We hunkered down during a storm, sipped at hot chocolate and coffee with an old copy of Charles Dickens' works. One of the best finds in Salem.
One of the classiest coffee places you'll find. They have a very well designed and classy interior. They also have comfortable outside seating for couples and groups. The coffee drinks here are quite flavorful!
Amazing food, delicious and CREATIVE coffee drinks, warm, interesting, and fun environment! The decor had me thinking of a library from The Lord of the Rings!
Our food; Cauliflower Tacos, Herb Fries, and Mango Chia Pudding!! We were not disappointed, in fact, we found ourselves conniving about ways to cajole our precious server into handing over recipes!!!
We also had two of the best coffee drinks we've ever had!
Our server was lovely! She spent time with us and got genuinely excited when she saw how much we were LOVING our food and coffees!

We're from the Portland area but we're already planning our next trip to Salem just to try more of the unique and delectable offerings from our new favorite coffee bar, Archive!
Went here based on the reviews. Sadly very disappointed. My husband’s tacos arrived 5 minutes before my meal, he had finished by the time mine arrived. Very little in the bowl except quinoa. This was a very expensive brunch.
Beautiful coffee shop and restaurant serving awesome coffee drinks and a great and delicious food selection that's unique for a coffee ahop. There's also a full bar here although I'm not sure if they have boozy coffee drinks. The decor is one of the best I've ever seen at any coffee shop. And I loved the outside seating. This is a nice hidden treasure in what's fast becoming revitalized downtown Salem.

We came to Archive to have dinner and cocktails. The service was wonderful, friendly and attentive.
Both food and cocktails were exellent, worth with price.

Cute well lit outdoor seating. Had a few cocktails, they weren't really all that mind blowing. Tried the creme brulee and it felt like there was more sugar topping than custard. I've had better, it tasted bitter from the burnt and not as creamy as I would have liked. I can say I've tried it but don't care to come back. Our server was very sweet though.
Archive is unquestionably one of the best establishments in Salem, without a doubt.
They have the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had; hibiscus pickled onions and pesto hit the spot every time. They roast some of the best coffee beans money can buy.
Their dinner menu, while short, is very potent. We had the Steak Frites and Cornish Game Hen, they were both excellent.
Not only are their products top notch, their staff clearly enjoy their jobs, and it shows. The service is great.
