Best WLM Reviews

This hotel is a terrific bargain in a simply super location in DC. I was almost scared off by a few negative reviews claiming it wasn’t’ clean or was a bedbug risk. This was not my experience. The hygiene is impeccable, the mattress is clean and super comfortable. The only reason why it doesn’t have five star is a few simple amenities being missing: No in-room refrigerator or coffee maker. My interactions with the staff were minimal but they were helpful and kind. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
The rooms are extremely small with huge bathrooms, maybe good for staying a day at most. Be careful on how many days you will book because there is no refund.
There is no on-site parking, and the closest overnight parking that has weekend availability is a 15-minute walk from the hotel. If you travel within the weekday, the closest one is 1101 15th Street which closes every day at 7:00 p.m.
Upon check in entire check in area smelled of cigarettes and marajuana…was charged an additional charge of $250 for amenities and there are no amenities.. no where to purchase water, soda or snacks, no restaurant on site nothing…
Safe doesn’t work in room, no amenities at hotel it’s more like a hostel than a hotel. Pillows are flat, only got 2 towels in room asked for additional towels and pillows first thing in the Morning had to call when we returned to room 14 hours later to again ask for towels and pillows. Toilet doesn’t flush everytime, windows are cracked… not at all a good place to stay
Great location, nice bathroom, a human exists at the front desk. Literally, everything else is awful. I have slept on rocks more comfortable than the bed (not kidding). I have seen crackers thicker than the excuses of a pillow they give you, and I have been to heavy metal concerts quieter than the AC unit. This is the hotel you recommend to people you don't like. This is the hotel you gleefully set up for your competition at work.
Low cost for great location. We can walk to all famous places. They provide iron, hair dryer, microwave (in lobby floor),…
Room is clean and bright. The AC is quite noisy but it’s not my matter.
I was really satisfied during my trip.
Location is perfect to walk around the city.
Entrance was steps so was very hard to move luggage.
Bed was not comfortable but clean. Pillow very bad.
AC and bathroom sucker was loud.
The ultimate "you get what you pay for" hotel experience. It's an amazing location- you are a few blocks away from The White House and a 10-15 minute walk from the Convention Center/Arena/Chinatown. You are very close to a metro station, and it's a $15 cab ride from the Amtrak station. The rooms are.... a place to sleep. The bed takes up 80% of the room, with almost no room to move around. The AC units are loud and less powerful than you would want. The lobby is cute but basically consists of a coffee machine and 2 couches. The staff is courtious, but there aren't really any amenities here. If you are planning on spending more than an hour or two of non-sleeping time in your room, you will want to look elsewhere, but if your plan is to be out all day and night and return to a bed, you aren't going to get better value for your dollar anywhere else
Good historical hotel, great location and low prices, clean. At the same time could not have a good rest due to thin walls so I could hear everything my “neighbour” in another suit could do/say. Too noisy outside (because of extraction and a/c. From the window view on the wall of other building in 5-6 feet. White blanket was with red/orange stains on it. No parking and weak wi-fi. Waiting for deposit to be returned (you pay one after check in)
