Burger is definitely a highlight!! Exceptional for sure. Wife got the grouper basket with coconut rice. Have to say, the rice was the hero of that basket. Nachos with blackened chicken were good, but it was too salty (would suggest less seasoning of the chicken and less onion in the guacamole). Service and atmosphere top notch!!
The service was great. I was expecting better food for the prices. The conch in the fritters were hard. The sweet potato fries were good. We also got grouper and yellow rice which was cold. I feel like the plastic plates, bowls, and cutlery is a bit wasteful. The decor was cute.
Archie’s is a very interesting spot with a great atmosphere.
We stopped in for Moscow Mules while waiting for a business meeting, and the drinks were solid.
Overall, a cool place to relax with good vibes and enjoyable drinks. Would definitely come back.
Archie’s is a small, kinda dive, kinda beachy, kinda eclectic restaurant/bar. It’s a fun vibe and an old beach bar sort of feeling. A bit off the wall but not unexpected. We ordered the traditional Rueben and the Philly cheesesteak. The Rueben was fantastic! I love corned beef and they know how to make it. The rye bread was delicious and the kraut was sweet and juicy. The Philly cheesesteak was recommended by our waitress and she was right. It’s very very good. The bread is soft but does not get soggy. They use a good quality meat and lots and lots of melty cheese. We split them. It can be a bit costly and that’s why I left only 4 stars and not 5. It seemed like it was quite a bit too expensive to justify the environment. We also felt that we had to “settle” for the Rueben and the Philly because of the cost of the items we actually wanted. But they didn’t disappoint. I would return for sure but I’d have to be prepared to spend more. I wouldn’t let the cost deter you though. The food and service was great!
We love Archie’s! Every time we’re in town, we have to go here. Cold beers and atmosphere and clam chowder is why. Rain or shine, thanks again for an awesome time at Archie’s!!
We just came back Saturday night at 8:30 to get clam chowder only and they met us at the entrance and said they were closed. Sad!
Food was pretty good I don't think the shrimp were cooked enough but they were not too bad, they need to make their own cocktail sauce The sauce they give you his pre-made in a packet not good All we need to get is a little bit of catch up fresh horseradish and a little bit of lemon juice would make a great cocktail sauce homemade the sweet potatoes fries were pretty good large proportion had to take half of them home The pina colada was good
Wasn’t sure of what to expect but this place was really good! The loaded fries, have me wanting to come back every week haha. I also had chicken tenders, I know, how childish of me ???? but everyone else in my party had some sort of fish and really liked it. I also had their Rum Runner which was delightful! Just don’t go here when you just washed the car ????????
We dined here with family and friends and have a fantastic time. The kids a scavenger hunt and had a blast. It was a great way to entertain the kids. The food was fresh and delicious. ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT to dine here.
