I’m pretty picky when it comes to diner-type food, but it’s clear why this place is a local favorite! The service was wonderful and the food was delicious.
Four stars because the veggies in the omelet were chopped a bit too large for my liking and the hash browns weren’t seasoned well enough, but to each their own. Better than over-seasoned, that’s for sure. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was TOP-NOTCH.
If you’re looking to get away from downtown, but not too far, Archie’s is a great choice!
The waiter literally gave my card and receipt to another group of people… Luckily I witnessed it happen and was able to grab it from them. If you value your finances don’t trust their shotty workers with your bank cards.. Also took five minutes to greet me and they weren’t even that busy.. Reno is going downhill fast…
The burgers were so juicy and delicious! Service was good and the food was fast and the food was quality.
I must say, Archie's is so good that, in fact, I have nothing negative to say about it. I'm from out of town, and I always make a point to go to Archie's when I come to Reno. They have the freshest food, especially their breakfast.
I came in today, and once I sat down, the waiter immediately assisted me, and once I ordered, It didn't take long for the food to be served. I ordered the Hotcake combo, and my friend ordered the chicken fried steak. It was absolutely delicious. My pancakes were so fluffy. My bacon was juicy and flavorful, and the eggs had a cheesy, creamy texture. My friend regarded the chicken fried steak as being delicious.
I must say I had a great experience today, service was good, the atmosphere was clean, and the food was fresh! I'd definitely recommend coming here!
Great burgers!
The burgers were perfectly done, nicely seasoned, and included all the usual toppings.
This is a college spot so it probably gets busy when UNR is in session. We will definitely be back, maybe to try the breakfast next time.
I have never had a bad meal at Archie's. Every breakfast item is outstanding. The salads and sandwiches are wonderful (I really like the Jamaican jerk chicken sandwich). Their namesake giant hamburgers never disappoint. Staff is always welcoming and friendly at all hours. The coffee is good and hot. Come in for a reasonably priced diner meal, and you will not be disappointed. Walking distance from UNR makes this one of my favorite haunts.
Went here for the first time and overall it was a great experience. I was craving burger and fries and I ended up ordering the Wolfpack burger. It was really big and tasted amazing. Service wise I wished that the servers checked up on me periodically but I got one servers attention to refill my drink (it was not busy when i went) . The servers were really friendly and nice, I just wished that they would check in on the dine in customer often. Besides that I really loved the food and would highly recommend this place.
Very nice food, very well presentation on the plates and the food was nice and hot, even sitting outside for several minutes outside in the cold, it was still hot. The cheeseburger and fries was seasoned well with excellent flavor and the onion rings was amazing too!
The outside sitting area was missing lighting when it got dark. Maybe some string lights overhead?
