This place is such a hit or miss which is why I gave it a rating right in the middle. Some days it's hot and very good. Some days it's cold and not so good. Iv been here maybe 6 times total. I was disappointed this last go becaus3 I got there 10 mins before they opened sonexcited thinking all the foods going to be fresh and I was disappointed. The vast majority of the food was cold. Like too cold. The people are always so friendly and service is always good. I typically absolutely love the shrimp, and I ate quite a bit of it but it was cold so hopefully I don't get sick. I was also annoyed because they added on thier own gratuity. This was the forst time that happened and we always tip in cash so that was frustrating. I Will probably go back again but probably not for a while. Could have had a better meal at road house for the same price.
Ordered sweet & sour chicken with fried rice and crab rangoons for take out. This was a huge mistake. The chicken and rice were TASTELESS. Absolutely devoid of flavor and the chicken was mushy. The sauce was disgustingly red and also tasteless. The rangoons had almost NO filling at all, maybe 1/4 tablespoon in each and greasy as hell. I'm shocked at how bad the food was. A total waste of money.
I recently dined in at Arches Chinese buffet in Farmington. The food was a solid 3/5. The temperature of some of the food was on the cooler side. Service was good, but the food was lacking...
Had done to the buffet and the food was pretty okay. Of course the food is best when it's fresh, but we had gone during lunch rush so it was kinda getting changed out every 10 minutes.
As far as Chinese buffets go, this one is good. I pushed it up to four stars because the price we paid is about the same as it was 10 years ago. The restaurant also seems to be a bit more fixed up and well maintained. Nice selection of food items on the buffet.
I don’t recommend this place at all! The family and I decided to try something different with a chines buffet but we were VERY DISAPPOINTED. The food was HORRIBLE, maybe it’s just our taste buds but none of us (4) liked the food. It all tasted strange, especially the shrimp.
On the other hand our waitress was good but the food is awful.
Not very good, feel like I wasted my money. The sweet and sour chicken was mushy and gross. The chicken fried was decent but kind of flavorless. The egg drop soup looks gross wouldn’t even eat it. The wontons literally have no filling which is a huge disappointment. The beef and broccoli was okay. Would probably avoid eating here again.
It had some time since I've been here. The buffet is just not the same anymore. Not much taste to it, in my opinion. Just bland. I even had to change my drink choice because my iced tea had a not so great taste to it. I don't think I'll ever return. Service was good.
