Delicious food and a lot to choose from on the menu. I had the baked chicken with rice and my boyfriend had the barbecue chicken. The sweet potato casserole was so good, i could have just eaten that with nothing else! My boyfriend really enjoyed the mac and cheese.
There are so many things on this menu that everyone can find something they'll like, and you won't be able to leave the place hungry. If you are, see a doctor. The portions are big, the prices are reasonable and the service is very good. Plenty of parking as well.
Wonderful little comfy food restaurant. The staff was wonderful. The food was very good. I suggest the salt and pepper catfish. Reasonable prices and large portions. Like you're at home with mama's cookin'.
Great customer service and very friendly staff!! Food was also great. Our 2nd time visiting this restaurant. We ordered the fried Catfish dinner on both visits it was so good and cooked to order. The seafood combination with the stuffed crab was a little expensive for the amount of food you received and my husband thought the stuff crab lacked flavor. I tried the lasagna dish and it needed more noodles and meat and a little less cheese. The sweet tea was also good. Probably will try this restaurant again due to the great customer service.
Use to love the pizza ,
BUT ! Gave 4 chances , they cutting cost and raised prices.
Seemed to not be able to put sauce on pizza even when you ask for extra sauce!!!
Have told them every x . With no resolve
Disappointed
This was our first time trying Arcadia Family Restaurant and we were extremely impressed. The food was amazing. The service was great, couldn't ask for more. We had the Blooming Onion for an appetizer and it was better than the one you get from that Australian Steak House. My wife had the Catfish platter and it was light, airy and well seasoned. Not to mention it was a huge portion, so I had a piece for myself. My mother-in-law had the quesadilla and she said it was really good. I got the Deli Stromboli. It was easily the best stromboli I have had in decades. It came out looking exactly like the photo in the menu and it was full of meat and cheeses. We got to meet the owner and he was really nice. We will definitely be back.
Worst service ever by the owner and who I assume was the manager based on actions. **For reference, our sever Brittany was excellent!**
I took my two sons to eat here this past weekend. it was about 7:30 and the hours said they were open until 9. Rather than telling me they were getting ready to close early, they allowed us to take a seat and order. At first they said they were out of pizza and calzones; not a problem, didn't want either of those. I ordered my my kids their meals (kids grilled cheese and 3 veggie plate of slaw, mac & cheese and fruit cup) and I order a toasted ham and swiss sandwich. the menu didn't specify what kind of bread it came on so I assumed either white bread or texas toast like any other sandwich and I was fine with those. When the food came out, my sandwich came on a toasted hamburger bun. I called over the manager because she was passing by, and inquired about that and she told me they were out all all bread except burger buns and sub rolls. Mind you, my son's grilled cheese was made correctly on white bread. when I pushed further about that she played dumb and offered to bring me out toast. When I asked if they were going to remake my sandwich on the toasted white bread she said no. When I said I didn't want the sandwich how it was she said fine and that they would remove it from the bill and just took my plate, did not offer to get me anything else. So I just sat there hungry while my kids finished their food. The owner then came out and tried to prove that I was wrong and that the menu clearly started the sandwich came on a burger bun. When I pointed it out on the menu that it did not, he proceeded to tell me that "in 7 years I am the first person to complain about getting a burger bun. That here in the South this is how sandwiches are made unless specified otherwise." and then said that they took it off the bill so everything was fine. He did not care that I clearly was not happy, still did not have any food, nor did he offer to get me anything else. It was obvious he was just trying to get us out of the restaurant. He then loudly went around to the both the manager and our server to tell them to make sure that they specifically ask what kind of bread when sandwiches are ordered. His tone with both myself and the employees was extremely condescending. We got our bill and went to pay, and of course the owner was at the register. our bill came to $17 and change. there was a misc. charge of $0.75 that I inquired about and he said it was the reduced charge for the fruit cup that my other son ordered which normally would be $5. Mind you I ordered the fruit cup as part of the 3 veggie plate. I was never told that it would be an extra $5. So he was going to charge me the full $7.50 for the veggie platter plus an additional $5 for the fruit cup. needless to say a kids grilled cheese meal, a small cup of COLD mac & cheese, slaw and a fruit cup cost $17. I did address the owner after I paid about his condescending attitude towards myself and his employees and the extremely unprofessional way he conducted himself and he cut me off saying all was fine because he removed my food from the bill and not every restaurant was for everyone so it was fine that he was losing a customer.
Clearly the owner does not care about his patrons and the experience. I have been around the food service industry most of my life whether I was serving or it was a family member, so I know and understand how things work. This all could have been avoided if they had just been upfront when we walked in that they were closing early that day.
First time today was great. Jamie Tuttle is an excellent server and a wonderful person. She is very cordial and professional. This restaurant is our new go-to place.
