Whoever elbow dropped my beef and cheddar better watch their back ????
UPDATE: the response I got is pathetic as it doesn’t even open an actual link. “Our guest support team will make it right” no tf they won’t. GFY
An Odyssey of Roast Beef and Regret
My son convinced me to swing here to grab him a sandwich. He hadn’t been here in years, and neither had I. But the building looked newer than I remembered, so I foolishly thought, “Maybe they’ve improved.” Spoiler alert: they haven’t.
The mission was simple. All I had to do was secure a half-pound beef and cheddar, just like my son had prophetically decreed via text: “The big one. Not the small one. The big one.” Easy, right? Wrong. So very wrong.
When I pulled up to the drive-thru, an angry man greeted me—or rather, angrily demanded to know what I wanted. Undeterred, I calmly requested the half-pound beef and cheddar, no combo. No fries. No drink. Just the sandwich. That’s when the situation began its steady spiral downhill.
Apparently, this was a groundbreaking order, so complex that it drove the man into a deeper rage. He blurted out a total that was absurdly high, and I reminded him, ever so gently, that I didn’t want fries or a drink. This clarification sent us plummeting into an even steeper descent.
At this point, the man was so angry and that I had no idea what he was going on about. I tried to simplify things: “I just want the sandwich.” But no. We were locked in a battle of wills—me, trying to buy a sandwich, and him, apparently pushing his soda and curly fry agenda. After several minutes of chaotic back-and-forth, I gave up. Trapped in the drive-thru line with no way to escape, I surrendered to the combo. Why? Because I knew if I went home without the sandwich, my son would be furious. And frankly, I am more afraid of him than the drive-thru guy.
Fast forward to the grand finale: I handed over an unfathomable amount of money for a combo I didn’t want, only to deliver my son a cold, disappointing sandwich that he declared “cold and not very good.” The sandwich was also significantly smaller than the towering beef masterpiece that was promised. We got ripped off something awful.
In the end, I walked away with an overpriced combo, a frustrated son, and a simmering rage that left me questioning my life choices. This isn’t the kind of fast-food experience I enjoy—or tolerate. But maybe that’s on me. Maybe I was asking too much when I dared to want a sandwich.
Pot holes in parking lot. Bushes block view of traffic when exiting the parking lot. Speaker is too low on pedestal and can't be heard. Tenant at window can't hear either. No visual summary of your order so you can verify that your order is correct.
Don't even ask people if you would like sauce and not put it in the bag! Twice I fell for this! Sandwiches aren't the same without the sauce. Like a Big Mac with no dressing! Zaxby's chicken no Zac sauce. Not returning because the manager wants to make excuses. $26 and can't spare a few packs of sauce
My husband got the 2 for 7 dollars double meat roast beef sandwiches with curly fries and drink. When he got home with our food we were SO MAD OUR ROAST BEEF SANDWICHES HAD VERY LITTLE MEAT ON THEM!!!!! ???????? WE ORDERED THE 2 FOR 7 MEALS WITH DOUBLE MEAT ON OUR ROAST BEEF'S AND I HAVE NOTICED THE ATHENS TN ARBY'S SKIMPS ON CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE FOOD THEY SERVE AND THIS IS JUST ONE OF MANY INSTANCES!!!!! ???????????? WE LOVE TO EAT AT ARBY'S BUT WE'VE BEEN DRIVING TO THE ARBY'S IN LENOIR CITY TN BECAUSE THEIR FOOD AND SERVICE IS ALWAYS GOOD AND THEY CERTAINLY DON'T SKIMP ON THE ROAST BEEF'S AMOUNT OF MEAT ON OUR SANDWICHES!!!!! IT'S A SHAME THAT WE CANNOT GET THE SAME SERVICE AND SATISFACTION WITH OUR FOOD AT THE ATHENS LOCATION THE COMMERCIAL ON TV IS 2 ROAST BEEF'S WITH DOUBLE MEAT A CURLY FRY AND DRINK FOR 7 DOLLARS SO I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW IN HOPES THAT THE RIGHT PEOPLE WILL TAKE NOTICE AND FIX THE ATHENS TN LOCATION SO THAT THOSE OF US WHO LOVE ARBY'S WILL BE ABLE TO ENJOY THE ARBY'S IN ATHENS AGAIN AND WHEN WE ORDER WE WILL BE HAPPY WITH THE FOOD AND SERVICE LIKE WE USED TO BE ABLE TO!!!!!
Good was alright a little dry service was off the chart and it’s always really clean and not greasy
Ordered some lunch through DoorDash and asked specifically for extra Arby sauce. My food gets here and I have zero packets of Arby sauce. Amazing job
This has to be the busiest Arby's I have ever visited, but they were fast at getting orders filled. I literally stupid in a line of ten people and they were hustling to keep things running smoothly.
