Best WLM Reviews
I had not eaten at Arby's in a very long time and since I was driving by one in the Lady Lake / Villages area and had some time to kill before an appointment, decided to have a double roast beef and cheddar with some crinkle fries. I'm glad I did. First, I was greeted by a very pleasant cashier, "Meka," who seemed cheerful and glad to be there, a very nice change when comparing employees from other fast food brand restaurants. After she took our order, she kindly gave me a cup to help myself to a fountain drink (Diet Dr. Pepper) and asked my name so when our order was ready, they could call it out if she didn't see me so I could retrieve it from the front. The restaurant had only a couple tables occupied besides ours and was quiet with some faint appropriate music piped in over hidden speakers. The counter area to collect napkins and condiments beside the fountain drink dispensers was clean and maintained, I appreciate things like that. As we sat eating beside a window, I noticed Meka wiping down tables and policing any litter that may be in the around the establishment, I doubt she found any trash to pick up but she smiled and I'm not certain but may have even asked if everything was alright with our order. Our sandwiches, which were just as we requested, were hot, and the crinkle fries were hot as well and just the right amount of outer crispiness I like. We enjoyed our brief lunch, probably around 11:30 mid week, and I would recommend the place if someone asked for advice on a fast food restaurant to eat at, in the area. Wish I didn't have to, but dinged them a star on the floor being very puddly in the urinal area in the bathroom when I went in before leaving, not their fault entirely I suppose, but watch where you step! I'll return again when I'm back in the area, and I hope for the same experience with only that one slight improvement. Thanks for reading my review.
This location has consistently had good service for me over the last few months. The employees are helpful and nice and get my order to me in a hurry. The brisket sandwich was a little dry for my taste but the sliders were a nice, affordable treat.
Be prepared to spend a little more than your usual fast food restaurant as my brisket sandwich value meal (medium) was just under $10 after tax.
Vanessa at the drive thru window had an extremely bad attitude. After inquiring about a food item she became frustrated, impatient and rude. I got her name to report to cooperate, canceled my order and left. So much for good costumer service ????
Arby's - a national chain. And as with any franchise, their menu is the same everywhere which is good if know what you want, you can get it. We purchased a gyro and a roast beef sandwich. Both were excellent. Arby's seems to have gotten their consistency down correctly.
The restaurant itself can be accessed from US 441. It has handicapped accessible parking, entrance, seating and restrooms. The staff was pleasant. The dining area could have been a little cleaner but it was the dinner hour. And the restrooms definitely needed work.
All in all, a pleasant meal was had.
Visited yesterday. Meat actually smelled terrible. Ended up throwing away $20 worth of meals. Do they steam the meat now to add weight? Does that cause spoiling ? Not sure. Avoid this place.
For some reason, Google would not let me leave an additional review so I had to add to my old one. I didn’t realize Google limited you to only one review per Restaurant. That definitely makes no sense . ***Updated review : May 26, 2024 , this is the third time we’ve been at this restaurant in Ladylake in the last two months and I swear the temperature is about 65° in the lobby. When I ask why it was so cold and what the temperature was back in the kitchen, the person told me that the air conditioner has been broken for months in the back and that’s why they have the one in the lobby running as hard as it can to try to cool off the kitchen and back area. This is because the owner doesn’t care about fixing things that are wrong with this restaurant he would rather freeze the customers in the lobby . I’m going to start going to the one in Oxford, even though it’s a longer drive this restaurant in Lady Lake never seems to disappoint me regardless of when we visit . *** Ants everywhere in the restaurant around the front left side. I killed about 40 with my shoes and then we had to move three times. The general manager was actually running the cash register so I went up and told him and he said oh we just had pest control out here. I guess we need to call them back again. Didn’t even bother to come out and look or apologize and stayed behind the counter gossiping with the staff, which was more important than the ants that were running my son and I away from where we were eating . Message to the owner hire a new general manager at least one that seems to care about what’s going on in the restaurant.
This is a revised review, I just drove through the Arby’s in lady lake. Ordered to combo meals and was a bit taken aback. Not by the discontinued menu items, but the drinks they handed me…. Mind you, the prices are up everywhere… but the drinks they handed me were tiny compared to what was usually served with their combos. Then, when we opened the bag, I was surprised again to see the tiny box of fries. At almost 20 bucks for fast food, ( they’re all going up) i was just surprised. I asked the associate if it was a mistake and I was told that Arby’s was bought out by the company that owns kfc and Taco Bell, and this is the direction they’re headed. I will say the food was fresh and tasted good, but for few extra dollars I could have sat down at a regular restaurant and got waited on.
The food was pretty good for fast food, and it was a bit chilly, but it wasn’t a bad experience. However, I cannot rate any higher as the atmosphere was almost entirely ruined by the screechy employee, Ashley. She sounded utterly miserable to just be there and spent 5 minutes berating another employee about cheese. She had a terrible attitude and frankly shouldn’t work there if she’s going to make the customers and her coworkers also miserable. I would rate lower, however I cannot go below one star.
