Very rude customer service at the drive thru. No greeting, clearly irritated to be taking our order, when we arrived at the window to pay I started to say hello and the employee just shouted my total. When handing me the bag of food, they basically just threw it into my hand.
We ordered beef and cheddar sandwiches and they came with cold slices of cheese. Every sandwich was cold.
Between the rude, unprofessional customer service and the cold nasty food we won’t be going back.
Walked in at 9:50pm and ordered. (No wait, cool!) The food came to our table in less than 5 minutes. Awesome service and the food was great! All of it. This was exciting because it was not so great on a previous visit. But…minutes into our excitement and truly enjoying our meals… a woman (wearing a jacket) began flipping chairs over onto the tables —despite the fact that Arby’s was not closing for another hour. Then a cold draft of air began chilling the whole restaurant (we were sitting in a booth close to the door.) After about 10 minutes of this we found the entrance door was propped open— by the lady wearing a jacket. For the next 15 minutes we ate our meals (our jackets on now), while the lady just stood in front of the wide open door. We left having to step over and around a pile of large blue hose she had filled the entryway with. It’s hard not to conclude her actions were deliberate, as it makes no sense to throw a hose (connected to a van) in the entrance an hour before the restaurant closes, and prop the door wide-open in 26° weather for 25 minutes—unless you want customers to leave. I would think Arby’s employees had a responsibility to instruct the cleaning company not to begin their work or bring their equipment in until after the restaurant was closed. Good food ruined by a very rude lady. Arby’s should be mad.
The food was good but I stood in line while the lady in front of me was told they have a 3 for $5. Special of the value menu. I got up next and I asked if it was happy hour. I was told that is no more. Then I asked if I could get the 3 for 5 deal the fella heavier set said I will try to see if I can get you the $5. Deal. Rude way too. He wasn't friendly to me at all. I went out of my way to go there. He proceeded to tell the ladies after me all the specials and the specials that are coming up soon too. I don't play the race game but being native american sometimes it can't be ignored. I wasn't happy. Just a paying customer like anyone else.
Food was very good. The drive-thru person was somewhat obnoxious. I was placing a bigger order. But after everything I'd order I'd get a "is that it?". Felt very rude. If I had ordered my kids food first I probably would've stopped and ate something at home for myself
Whoever was working yesterday during the night did a good job. It got busy and he was working fast and he was doing his best.
I recently had the displeasure of visiting the Arby's drive-thru, and the experience was nothing short of a disaster. The employee who took my order could barely muster the courtesy to acknowledge my existence. After charging me, he curtly instructed me to pull up to the second window where, according to him, my food would be ready in a second.
Well, let me tell you, their definition of "a second" must be drastically different from mine. I sat there for over ten minutes, watching as cars that were behind me got their orders and drove away while I continued to wait. Eventually, I had no choice but to park and go inside, where I faced another round of frustration.
Trying to get an employee's attention inside was like pulling teeth. Finally someone walked past me and shouted that my food was on the counter, where dine-in customers pick up their orders. When I asked if he was talking to me, he shouted back, "Yep!"
The lack of professionalism and basic customer service was astonishing. Waiting ten minutes while others got served, being ignored inside, and then being yelled at is beyond unacceptable. The only word that truly sums up the Forest Lake Arby’s and its employees is, pathetic. Do not go here.
They get me in and out quickly, with friendly service, and the food is always correct.
This location has a musty odor. The interior is very outdated, there are spots where they are missing photos on the wall and water stains on walls and ceiling. They painted the wood on the booths at some point but it is peeling & tacky to the touch. The tables were clean but sticky.
