Went in at lunch time on a holiday and they were definitely busy.
I cheated and read their name tags;
Tracy, Josh and everyone else handle the rush like pros and were extremely kind and efficient. Food was fresh and hot too. Definitely recommend.
Myself and 4 other cars sat parked in the drive through for 30 minutes - not exaggerating. I called the store to ask what was going on & the lady says their system is down so they can’t take any orders. I asked if she knew she had a line of cars outside & she says Yes, but she told one car that they weren’t able to take orders right now. Very disappointed in their customer service. If they had sent someone outside to personally tell us what was going on, that would have been a different story. Instead, I handled it and walked car to car to tell each person what was going on. Very frustrated and disappointed. I understand they have zero control over a system shut down. But they do have complete control in how they handle it. And they chose not to.
This is the most ridiculous restaurant in town. It will take you twice as long to get through the drive through than anywhere by far and I guarantee they won’t have everything you ask for. I couldn’t even get ice in my drink. Not even frozen water. I’ve tried to give them benefit of the doubt but every time I try to eat here I get the same result. Absolutely pitiful.
Wow, I've been sitting at the drive through for 10 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. I think they must have 1 person taking inside orders, drive through orders, and cooking... I said, "Hello" trying to get someone's attention and a clipped voice answered to give her "Can you give me just a minute?". A minute, sure. 15 with no cars in front of me, no.
Yesterday (8-26-2024), we went here, and the young lady at drive thru was the sweetest lady! When we got to the window to pay and get our food, she was all smiles, polite and genuinely sweet! I wish more people were like her! Name on receipt says Kiara! She needs a raise! ❤️
Went through the drive through. Order was ready at the window. Quick and Friendly Service!! Highly Recommend!! Food was hot and fresh!
I ordered a 4-Pc potato cake only got a 3-pc but was charged for a 4-pc. Also ordered a cup of cheese to eat with the potato cakes and it was missing from the bag! So over all the service at Athens is a one star... I grew up eating at Arby's in Ohio. I can remember only waiting 8 to 12-minutes for our take out food. Not here!!
