Best WLM Reviews
At the drive thru and saw the “three for $5 menu”. I ordered that and wanted a large iced tea since it’s hot today.
I got to the window and now it’s $11.00 and change?? I asked the guy why the huge price difference? A woman came up to the window and said if we wanted to cancel the order she had to charge us again on our card, we paid cash?? Basically she said that you cannot upgrade the 3 for $5 dollar to a large drink. This is ridiculous in the fast food industry, they always try to up sell.
I took a photo of my small slider, small fries and all of these sauces I didn’t ask for.
The slider was not fresh. The meat was stuck to the bun, the mayo looked old and the overall appeal made me wonder if I should even eat it. The small fries tasted pretty good but they were not hot.
The customer service was severely lacking here. I had a guy who was hard to understand while ordering and then the female who jumped in at the pick up window telling me I can’t order a large drink off the value meal deals.
I won’t be going back to this location for food or poor service. There are many other options on both sides of Second Ave. up and down the street.
I ordered at the drive thru, I asked for lettuce and tomato on my roast beef sandwich. When I paid for my lunch, I checked and my sandwich did not have the lettuce and tomato I asked for. I went to hand it back and they couldn't take it because it has already been in my car. I was made to pay an extra $1.89 to get my lettuce and tomato for your mistake of leaving it off in the first place. This is one of the worst cases of customer service I have encountered. I will not be visiting again.
The crinkle cut fries are good.
The new crispy fish sandwich is larger than the competition's and has a good balance of fish and breading. It tastes just like the McDonald's Filet-o-fish. If you fill out the survey on their website you get a coupon to get the sandwich for just $1. That is a very good deal.,since the special price is two for $6. Update: Got a half pound beef and cheddar sandwich and a jalapeno beef slider. Both were very good.
Update: The food is terrible. I waited to review the food until I'd gone back several times and at different times of the day. The hamburger I got today was raw in the middle. The potato cakes did not taste good, not sure if the oil was bad or what. The Jamocha shake did not have enough syrup and tasted like a plain vanilla shake. Not the first time I've had that problem at this location, even when I asked for additional syrup. And they are too expensive to be able to get away with the same issues over and over. Just skip this one.
Old review:
The new building is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
This restaurant makes me wonder why people tend to disparage Arby's. It's so good! Stop whatever you're doing, run down to this Arby's location, and eat. You will enjoy it.
The ads got me. I caved for the new Waigu burger. 7pm not really dinner rush, ordering was fast and great. After order it took 15 minutes to clear the 1 car in front of me the whole time circled by homeless. After I got to the window the took my payment provided a receipt then was about to hand me some one else's order. I confirmed what I ordered and the worker left. 5 minutes later another kid came up and was about to hand me the same wrong order. I again confirmed the order a few minutes later I got my correct food. That waigu burger was sloppy and rushed for a 20 minute process.
Okay so I'll give Arby's four stars for the customer service of the employees and the nostalgia of it all however the food is regular Arby's food I got a French dip and the prices are outlandish I don't know what Arby's thinks they're trying to do but the outrageous prices are going to send me to another place to eat every day of the week if you want to continue to have my business and I would guess the business of most consumers you need to do something about your prices and you need to do it quick 16 + dollars for a French dip is outrageous
Are you kidding, it's Arby's. If you can't find something you like there's something wrong with you. Tonight I took a hungry friend there for dinner and he ordered the 2 for $6 beef and cheddar sandwiches and a chocolate shake. He really enjoyed it. The drive up window moved real quick and the service dude was really cool. Good job Arby's on 2nd street El Cajon, California I'll be back soon.
