Stopped while heading back from vacation after getting thru Chicago. The girls working were all super friendly and pleasant. The restaurant looks pretty new. The half pound roast beef and curly fries were just about perfect. Looked just like the menu pictures. Roast on the sandwich was cooked and sliced just right, bun nice and soft. Curlies fresh and just the right amount of crunch. The owner should give the girls working Wednesday lunch a bonus.
The guy in the drive through was amazing and so kind/pleasant, however the last time we ate there a couple weeks ago —- the food was absolutely AWFUL, and a waste of our $30. I’ve eaten Arby’s for years and it’s never been as bad as it was. Wish I still had my receipt, but I didn’t call and complain because I didn’t have the energy, just chalking it up to a loss and know better than to eat their in the future… honestly hadn’t been there in 5 years because it was terrible; decided to give it another chance and regret it. I’ll be sticking with Valpo location from now on, they’re the only ones who can seem to make their food correctly!
The food was quite good, but the restaurant felt almost as cold as outside. Staff did an adequate job but were unwelcoming and seemed upset.
Place was gross manager I did not like definitely had a attitude my brisket was dry and gross they seemed to have a lot of fun working back there but work doesn’t seem important here parking lot was nasty men’s restrooms nastier than Taco Bell I didn’t even use the restroom I went to Taco Bell’s instead. Order counter was sticky and lemonade looked NASTY in their little lemonade machine don’t waste your money here it’s nasty
Food was barely warm. Spent $20 and was charged 25 cents for a cup to drink water.
Fast service, clean inside and out. Good sandwiches. Just what we expected.
Ordered the half pound beef and cheddar. Took one bite and 50% of the beef slid out the back end of the bun. Way too much bbq sauce which I did not order. Cheese was very soupy. Worst and messiest sandwich I ever ate! Smallest amount of fries for $2.19. Will never return.
This is the second time I’ve been here and they have managed to screw up my order. Spent 15 dollars on the smoke house brisket meal get home and it’s a pile of roast beef. Absolutely nothing on it. And of course she couldn’t give me a receipt…. This was the best fast food place in Chesterton but it’s neck and neck with all the rest anymore. ????
