The food is always delicious. I come to Arboledas frequently and have tried many things on the menu. The warm salsa is really good and the red salsa is really spicy hot ( for me!). The plates are generous and pretty.
I like the manager and all of the servers. It’s nice to be recognized when I walk in. Great neighborhood restaurant!
The food is always tasty. I had the chalupa plate for the first time, it was great. My wife had the verde enchiladas and she loved it.
This was our first and last time to Arboledas and I'll share why. The customer service was on point! Our server Ruby was awesome! She was very attentive and friendly. My husband ordered the carne asada, my daughter ordered crunchy tacos and I ordered the beef enchiladas. All entrees came with rice and beans. The meat wasn't fresh, and was overly salty. My family ended up all throwing up the following day. We wished we would have had a better experience, as again we loved the server we had but unfortunately it didn't turn out that way.
Love this place. My wife and I have eaten here many times over the years. Excellent Mexican food. Fair prices. Never too busy. Friendly staff. Always a pleasurable experience.
A Rockwall staple, Arboleda's had been one of my family's favorite places for many years. The warm salsa as we call it is so good. Their charro beans are the best in town. Always generous portions. Great service as well. The chairs are plain wood so not comfy if you've got back issues. My husband brings a cushion. No frills, quaint, but tasty food. The taquitos are my personal fav. Everything is great. Classic tex-mex.
Got food to go and only took 15 minutes to prepare. The queso tasted good but very watery. I asked how big the bowl of queso is and was told it will feed 4 people. For $8 not bad. Except when I got a small container of queso that only fed one I realized it’s not worth it. The shrimp flautas were burned and hollow with the tail left on and caldo de res (not in pictures) was bland. The nachos in the picture are the kids nachos. The queso flameado was cold and the avocado was old (dark spots). Will not be getting food to go from here again. Bill was about $55.
Great service, good food and very very reasonable prices all make for a great Tex-Mex restaurant. I had the enchilada special of the day for $7 and it was definitely worth it.
The server was prompt with the chips and salsa. They served 2 kinds of salsa, 1 a bit more spicy than the other and both were delicious and tasted fresh.
I would definitely return to this place.
Edit: the restaurant issued a refund to my card hopefully if we try it again the service will be better next time.
Normally the food is great but today I got home and it was all wrong. They offered to replace it but what am I supposed to do when they tie the bag up completely in the restaurant and it's a 30 minute drive home and a 30 minute drive back. By that time it's already 9pm way past dinner. Just refund my card.
