This place is so underrated. Yea it’s in Royce city in the middle of no where, but the city is looking like it’s bout to be the next Rockwall, it’s growing. Again the city is very old but I was so surprised of how good it was. Queso is yellow and so good. The margarita hit the spot. Chips (thin) my favorite, salsa was ok. fish tacos with charro beans…. Amazing. Laura was my waitress and she was the sweetest. I know once the town grows more the wait to get into Arboledas will be long.
We just visited Arboledas Mexican Grill for the first time and we regret that it took us so long to try it! We liked everything about it - the food, the margaritas (large is the way to go!), the service (check out the pic of our server - you can see friendliness pouring out of her sweet face), the hot sauce (two kinds), and the thin crispy chips. Larry loved his chimichanga (pico de gallo cooked inside if you wish) and my bean and cheese nachos were great with generous portions of guacamole and sour cream. The margaritas were huge and wonderful. They taste great and are just right so you can enjoy without getting wasted! We will be back on a regular basis! Oh, I forgot to mention that the prices are very reasonable and they have specials on a regular basis.
One of the best Mexican restaurant… food is delicious…. I like the desserts Mexican flan is super. I visited this restaurant 3times till now every time I have tried new items, every item the dish was amazing, friendly staff. Every time I visit I am adding my new item.
My experience at this little restaurant in downtown Royce City was superb. Excellent service, the server was very attentive and we were quickly greeted with fresh salsa and chips(not spicy, but flavorful) beverages were quickly brought out. A very pleasant experience for a small business. The chimichanga and other parties meals were average. Overall service quality superseded the meal.
Supposedly this is fine Mexican food. I ordered the chalupa, enchiladas, birria tacos, and fries. The food taste okay and the only positive is that the workers are nice. Will not be back.
Arrived Saturday night around 7:15. Place is half full. Lots of options for seating. Salsa came with two flavors - both were awesome. Food arrived 15 minutes after ordering.
Wife had brisket enchilada- so good. Brisket was cooked just right. I had the Enchilada de Cilantro. This was super yummy. The fajita meat was well cooked and cilantro cheese all over the top was ooey-gooey good.
Overall, pretty tasty! The staff were friendly, the food was delivered quickly, and we may have had the best flan ever created. The only downside was that the fajitas were a little overcooked, but they were still good. We will definitely be back!
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. We have eaten here several times, and the experience has always been the same. It is a big place, so bring the entire family and friends. If you're heading there for lunch, the service is quick and the food fantastic.
