Best WLM Reviews
I got the “Pad Thai Lover” version… it was AMAZING!! It has awesome wide noodles and it was perfectly seasoned. It was SOOO nice and smokey from the wok and nice portion size too!! So good!! Can’t wait to try it again!! I do wish they would have included a couple lime wedges though.
The food was very enjoyable, we ordered more rice to soak the curry. Very calm music plays. The space has a very classic feeling. I'll be coming by more often.
Great food, good portions appropriate prices and fantastic service. I had the pad key mail that I use as the baselining dish anytime I go to a Thai restaurant and Arawan’s was superb: thin perfectly cooked pieces of chicken with al dente vegetables, thick mildly chewy noodles and a well balanced sauce. My only critique is that it wasn’t very spicy, but I realize that’s a Pacific Northwest thing and they do give you a bottle of Sriracha sauce if you need to turn up some of the heat.
Always enjoy Arawan, always friendly service and the food does not disappoint. I tried the Garden Curry this time instead of my favorite Panang. Was very good with some nice flavorful heat, might be my new favorite.
Wow, this place was amazing! The food was outstanding and the waitress super friendly. Will definitely be back
UPDATE: It's been YEARS since I originally wrote a review for this place, and it always remained my favorite in Vancouver, and ranked highly of any Thai restaurants I've visited across the United States. After having been gone for two years, I looked forward to visiting it got lunch today (08/2024), and wasn't disappointed. While the prices have increased, it feels like the portion sizes did as well. ????
Our favorite Thai restaurant in Vancouver so far. Very consistent, not heavy/greasy, great visual presentation, etc
Amazing authentic Thai food. Beautiful atmosphere. Lovely server. Thank you.
We loved the green curry, basil stir-fry, and the pad ki mow.
Been here three times now- not only is the food so delicious and fresh every single time but they are fast and friendly and our server was Phen I think and I think we've had her every time and she is so great she is like a mom she goes above and beyond and it really makes you comfortable!
Everything we have ordered from here we have loved and the medium level spice to me is perfect I feel like a lot of places are a little too spicy but this is amazing!!
Highly recommend!!
