First off traffic was a nightmare getting here, then front desk clerk was not friendly at all in explaining where our room was and had a hard time getting payment approved. Finally find the room and toilet is stuck running because tank was empty. Spiders and cockroach are running around. The only outside window had been broken with piece of plexiglass glued and nailed in place and old glass still on outside windowsill and on the ground. No hangers and bad smell in a no smoking room. Should have picked the motel 6 which is same price but way better. Will not be staying here again and hope our deposit is returned. No deposit was mentioned when booking room, only when we checked in.
This place is awful! We were here for a week, there’s roaches and ants. We went to pay for another week and they said we had to pay online. RIGHT after paying they said that we had to leave the next day because room service said our room smelled bad. It smelled of the grilled chicken we had just cooked earlier that day. They charged a $43 cancellation fee then said we had to be out the next day. Charged us AGAIN for one night and still haven’t gotten back our money from the cancellation. I would advise anyone to stay away from this place. All staff is extremely rude. And after paying for the one extra night housekeeping tried to force us out of our room and when I clarified we had one more night she got snappy with me and started being rude.
Also would like to add that housekeeping kept coming in our room when we were not there and my charger went missing during that time. Plus the bathroom ceiling was peeling really bad and had a huge strip gashed out of the door. Not to mention it’s a complete safety hazard and violates fire code because the windows have been screwed shut so you can’t open them more than about 3 inches. And on our second day here my 4 year old son and husband took a walk around the building and my son found 2 used syringes in the parking lot full of dried up blood. The whole place is a hazard
If I could, no stars would be given. I definitely get the whole “you get what you pay for” thing. But sometimes things should be at least up to par. I wouldn’t even want my pet to stay here. For starters, checking in was horrible. The front desk clerk acted confused about me paying for our room when we arrived. The room was absolutely disgusting. It smelled like smoke when it’s supposed to be a non smoking room, the whole floor smelled like smoke. The bed was small and hard, bugs smashed on the wall, towels looked as if they had been already used, people next door to our room arguing and slamming the door till 3am. The “unsavory characters” that stay there are outside begging or doing all types of things. Upon checking out the very next morning; checked in Friday October 25th and left at 8am the next morning after trying to get a good night’s rest. At the time, another party was checking out who had also checked in the previous night and dealing with similar issues. Trying to get them to process a refund for unused nights has been a nightmare not to mention the constant argument with that front desk clerk; the guy knows nothing about what he’s doing. Sadly they blocked me from leaving an honest review on booking.com but here it is.
This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. My 1st night there I wasn’t able to shower due to the bathtub handle not working. I woke up in the middle of the night to my door being completely wide open as if someone entered my room while I was sleeping. Then it happened again the next morning. Someone walked in my room not once but twice. I then informed the front desk and nothing was done about it and not to mention they charged me for a deposit and denied giving it back. There is no cooperate office or any one of higher management to report this to. This place is horrible!
I booked this hotel from hotelsinamerica.com, at the time of check-in the lady at the front desk said it requires a minimum of 21 years of age to check-in (I'm 20). However, the website did not state the same thing while making the reservation online. I was denied checking-in without getting a refund from Araamda Inn or hotelsinamerica.com. I understand the hotel has such a policy, but what am I gonna do if I'm under 21? Am I gonna steal stuff or damage the property? Well that can be done by someone who's older than 21 aswell. I requested them to charge me a deposit for security purposes, which she denied. I lost $100 for 2 days stay and I'm never coming back to this hotel again even if I'm over 21!! I've been staying in motels for over 6 months and have never faced such an issue, I would not recommend staying in this hotel due to their lack of responsibility.
Omg it was the best experience I had since 1583 the room was very large with a bed full of bed bugs ,poop ???? smeared all over the walls and the one thing I could not do was go potty because the entire bath room was full of moldy everything, after I left a few days later I had lung cancer and pneumonia for 2 years but im all good now lol. If u want to die I highly recommend it to everyone to have
Only thing I can say is that they really need to just tear this hotel down and rebuild it. The condition of this place was horrible, but you get what you pay for. They really need to do better and stop “baiting” people on their website with certain rooms from a while ago to get people to book at their hotel when they know it’s nothing like that when you get there. SMH ????????
Very rude front desk girl .I booked through price line tried check in 3 am she didn't allow. I called price line they changed the dates then checked in. Was waiting for an hour in the middle of the night. For two persons she gave one small bed. Ridiculous in the middle of the night. Price line guy apologized me for four times. Don't want to mention the front desk lady name, clearly her intention was to make more money. Won't go back for sure.
