Best WLM Reviews
We have a nice experience every time we come either for sick or well visits. My kiddos need a little extra TLC and the doctors we see go above and beyond to help lead us in the right direction. The nurses are all nice as well.
I would not recommend bringing your children to Aquinos office at all. In the beginning everything was great, staff was very caring an attentive but recently it’s gone down hill. I had Dr. Boland a she was amazing she explained everything to me, understood my concerns a made sure everything she was telling me I understood being as I’m a first time mom, but she was no longer there so we got switched to Dr. Aquino. I called one day to schedule an appointment with Dr. Aquino because my daughter wasn’t feeling to good an the lady on the phone said “she doesn’t see sick children” which is outrageous being that she’s a Dr. instead they had a nurse practitioner see my daughter. She claimed there was nothing wrong with my daughter that it was “seasonal allergies”. She was only in the room for 5 min and just moved on with no concern. Next day I had to take my daughter to the ER a she had pneumonia. This isn’t the first incident I’ve had with them. At this point I am fed up I have switched providers. I give them 0 stars .
Initially, when I took my daughter I was happy. I met with a sweet nurse that had good bedside manners, but Dr. Aquino is awful. Believe every last one of the reviews. Her bedside manner is horrible, she doesn’t listen to parents and is incredibly rude to the babies (literally doesn’t interact with them). I thought maybe it was a cultural thing at first, but when I read the reviews it became evident she’s just a terrible doctor. For this to be a pediatric doctor, there is nothing catering to kids there. The wait for appointments is way too long not to have something to occupy the babies. ALSOOOOOOO they are doing something silly with the billing as other people are stating. They have double billed us for one appointment, TWICE!
I had a bad experience with Dr Aquino office. Never went back.
I have honestly contemplated leaving a review, but after thinking, it is definitely time to complain. After moving back to Clarksville I chose Aquino because it had appeared they had “decent” reviews. My son was under care with them for roughly 6 months, 6 months TOO long. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. I get it, I’m covered in tattoos and don’t look like the “mom” type, but I don’t play around, nor am I incompetent, like they made me feel at EVERY visit. I work with doctors on a daily basis, however, whenever I voiced my concerns that my son had, NP & Dr Aquino told me it wasn’t a big deal (he had RSV for almost SIX months). He was also hospitalized at one point due to being in respiratory distress, but don’t worry it’s “normal.” We went to another appointment, I spoke with doctors and nurses I work with who said “it’s not normal. Get a referral.” So I asked. 3 times and they said it was “unnecessary.” I finally said I wasn’t leaving without one, stuck to my gut, Vanderbilt called and we had an appointment within a week. When we went to Vanderbilt I voiced all my concerns, the Dr didn’t belittle me or make me feel incompetent and ran tests. Turns out my son DID have asthma which I had been asking about for months, and to make it worse, he also had pneumonia in both lungs.
Seriously. Don’t take your kids here. Terrible customer service and they make you feel stupid & ignore concerns.
I think completing near the whole screening for the appointment totally in your own personal car is getting a little insane at this point spending 20 minutes worth Time in your car either using up your gas for sitting out in the heat is of no benefit to any party and just wasteful. There is no reason you can’t have the patient answering the milestone questionnaire in the lobby prior to their appointment… I also don’t know why they’re still wasting their time with temperature scans…. No data that one works either, but this evidence based practice is still doing things that waste our time for no benefit because they don’t want to think about a better logistics plan…. I guess if it’s not on their dime why bother. It’s ok we’re waiting right now and I have time to type this from in their building. I would not recommend going here. Plus last time I was here they added hydrocortisone to the appointment which we could have gotten for free and they charged us a second entire appointment for that per their front desk person which I’m still checking with my insurance company of the legality of that maneuver. Also not sure what the scientific benefit of screening for lead every single appointment is. Hope that’s not a gimmick.
Despite the positive reviews that got me interested in this business, I have YET to have a positive experience! I don't know if it's just an incredibly small operation that isn't equipped to handle the demand or what, but I have never had so many inconveniences when trying to get appointments for my children. Calling is always hit or miss. Listed hours of operations are not accurate and actually getting appointments to be seen take waaaaaaay too long to get set up. I wish the business side matched the positive reviews about the actual staff.
They saw my daughter for her cough 2 weeks ago and told me her cough was due to a viral infection. Said she was fine, I scheduled a check up and they practically refused to see her till her cough went away. I am very upset yet confused how a doctors office could refuse to see a patient who they’ve already cleared and yet they want us to come back to them when she’s healthy makes no sense to me that they only want healthy patients and not sick ones. I could understand if we had no clue what the cause of the cough was but since they have already seen her and diagnosed her and it’s not covid related I do not see a problem. I am going to be changing her doctor to a clinic that will actually see sick kids and healthy kids. If I could give 0 stars I would.
