The hotel was nice and they are doing a lot of updates in the Casino which I can only assume will be positive. We only ate a breakfast "bite" at the but Duets has good pastries and other small things for that meal. Laughlin has lost a lot of business since the Pandemic but this hotel does not appear to be on a downward spiral. ||I normally write pretty positive reviews but we did have a very disturbing thing happen while visiting. We were with a bus tour and arrived at about 3PM. We heard that Jay Leno was going to be next door at the Edgewater (owned by the same company) for one show only that night. We rushed next door and got tickets for a few cents less than $90 each with taxes. We went over a little early (thank goodness) and were told that our purses could not be taken into the show that they have a "clear bag" policy. For one thing, I couldn't figure out what that meant and for another thing they did not mention it while selling the tickets. If the term had been "transparent purse" I would have understood and we did notice signs around with the term clear bag later but to us that just meant inspecting what we had in our purses like they do at the theatre at home. My friends rushed back, dropped off the purses and got back in time to see a great show by Jay so it ended on a positive.||They need to use more descriptive words on the signs, warn people buying the tickets AND at least have someone selling cheap transparent plastic containers near the show. They didn't even sell them at the gift shop (our first thought).
We had a great stay at the Aquarius! Check in wa very expedient and only took a few minutes to get our room. The room had an amazing view of the Colorado River and was very clean. The room had a refrigerator and coffee pot as well. On the casino floor it was very clean and comfortable. Cocktail waitresses were always available and came around frequently. In the evening the Splash bar provided great entertainment. We will definitely be returning to the Aquarius.
It's awful with the cigarette smoke. By the time we left we were both coughing. Eyes were burning. Our chests hurt and we could not get the smell off of us. It was disgusting. We had to walk through smoking sections to get to our room. The whole place stinks of cigarettes. Even in the non smoking sections we were breathing smoke. Had a rude hostess at the the Cafe named Marilyn. She was very rude and said rude comments under her breath as she walked away that we could hear. There were stains on the couch in our suite. We had to put a blanket on the couch to sit on it. The sound and picture on the TV in our room were not synced. The tub did not drain. We had water up to our ankles. We will not be returning.
Great views from 16th floor, nice restaurants selection. Big rooms, comfy bed, "HOT" water shower. Location good. Kiosk check-in is helpful with lines for in and out services. Outback steakhouse, quick service, affordable prices. Parking ample.
Room was very clean and comfortable. Nice view to outside. Bed was so comfortable, soon as I laid down in it, I was knocked out!!!!....literally, for the whole night. Loved it. Will visit again. The price was perfect but expensive at all. The Cafe located inside the resort served delicious food. The carrot cake.....m m m ....loved it along with the Fish and Chips I ordered.. so good. Server was a sweetie and great also. Can't wait to go back.
Positive: I enjoyed a fun one-night stay at this casino resort hotel. It is a big and busy place and has an Outback Steakhouse restaurant and casino cafe onsite. It also has free self parking in a large parking ramp. My guest room was spacious and comfortable. Negative: There was a resort fee charge added to my bill - not a big deal, just something for guests making reservations to know about.

#2 for pool. small, and only 4 ft deepest.
2 life guards. nothing allowed in pool area. so I smuggled in contraband.
limited pool hours. 12 to 7 p.m.
no adult only swim hours.
had to walk partly in casino to get to pool. then 2 fenced, gated areas to go thru. room key used for gates.
very disappointed in pool issues. otherwise clean, lots of chairs, shaded areas. 2 whirlpools, only one working.

I had read some reviews that says the rooms were dated and with mold but we spent 3 nights at the Aquarius casino and were surprised that the rooms were clean and the cleaning staff were in top of things, also gambled a little bit and won some, sat at the bar and as long as you play on the machine they'll comp you drinks. We ate dinner at the Cafe and was surprised that the food was good, I had the reuben with fries and had to take half to my room. Casino floor was clean, cleaning crew are trying to keep up.
