I thought i got a bargain with a United airlines package. However, got hit with a $30 "amenity" fee, not resort fee! What amenities did i use? No the internet, not poolside service as there isn't any Pool is smaller than my home pool. Beach chair and towel is ok but not worth $30. I did have a cup of coffee in the lobby.|Clean and nice bed, noisy neighbors, good location. IHOP was not good and also very expensive.
Not the fanciest of hotels but also not too expensive. It was nice enough for a place to stay during our time on the island. The front desk staff was incredibly kind and helpful for everything we need. There is however a $30/day fee that you are charged when you first arrive for things like lobby coffee, DVD rentals, and wifi. All things we didn't really need. Just keep that in mind when budgeting.
Room was decent, but the bathtub looked like it got ripped apart. All of the paint was falling off. The elevators took 10 minutes to get to your floor. I mostly used the stairs because of this. And when I checked out early, for some reason I checked my bank account and a transaction of $768 was made on my account. I called them and they said they charged it on accident and refunded it back the same day. They did not call me once because of this accident and I had to call them. They said I would get my money back, but it's already been 2 days since the incident. Not happy with my experience at all with this place.
From Maui, met family on Oahu who've never been to Hawaii. Kama'aina treated great. Good rates and hospitality was excellent, much Aloha. ||Not every floor had ice or vending machines but the elevators are fast and no problems getting what I wanted. Weird sticky spot on the floor between dresser and window, like a spilled drink. Couldn't see it but felt it, avoided it. No smell.||Bathroom and showers are great; hot with strong pressure. Made mornings good to get up, felt good on my back after lots of walking. A/C is ice cold, yes! Very comfortable room. ||I often stay Aqua Palms Waikiki when on Oahu. Rooms are excellent but ice machines and snacks would've been 5 dots. ||Lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance too.||
This hotel was exactly what we were looking for, and I would come back 10/10 times. This was our first time to Hawaii so we didn’t know what to expect but this hotel helped us achieve the exact experience we were looking for on Oahu. The hotel is in a great location in Waikiki, with access to the beach and many shopping districts all within 5-10 minutes or walking distance. The hotel is clean, nice, and the staff is very helpful. We could not get parking but the staff recommended a parking garage 1 block away which was perfect. It has in and out privileges, and we had a spot all week for $20 a day. We paid cash and got a great deal, which was the cheapest parking in the area. We didn’t use the swimming pool, but it’s totally not needed. You don’t need access to the pool when the beaches are 5 minutes away
My husband and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary. We stayed four nights and had an amazing time. This place is in a great location, just a six-minute walk to the Hilton Lagoon and about a ten-minute walk to a park next to more of Waikiki Beach. It is also a two-minute walk to the local market, with amazing food and souvenirs. The service was very professional and welcoming. The rooms are very clean, and the balconies are a huge plus. Room service every other day is perfect for all the sand you're going to track back from the beach. We will definitely stay here again! My husband and I plan on visiting Honolulu again and will be staying here! Also, it's a five-minute walk to the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, perfect if you decide to go for a drive around the island. ❤️
I am just going to be frank here. This hotel is a 2 star hotel at best. Your room will have hair in the tub or sink. Your towels will be old and thin. Your refrigerator may be dirty. Your internet will go out several times in the same day. There may be broken things in your room. Mine was the air conditioning and drawer where you place personals. Also, it is very loud if your room is on the side facing the hotel entrance, regardless of how high your floor is. I stayed for a month due to a move and had an overall poor experiencing. Two positives were the person who booked our stay, as she was very helpful for a last minute booking. The front desk staff was nice.
My shampoo, hidden on the 2nd shelf/drawer area of the television stand was knocked over by housekeeping. The lid was on tight and it was a new bottle. The bottle was missing, but the shampoo was everywhere. I’m made an incident report and received no call, no email or any form of communication about it since. It was weeks before I left. Housekeeping had no reason to touch my personal things, especially when they are tucked away from where housekeeping cleans. I left messages for the manager, with no response. They have my contact info. I will update if they ever call.
For a stay in Waikiki, you want a great place or even semi nice. This isn’t it. There are many other options you should consider first where at least you get a response when something goes wrong.
On site reservation team made making reservation very easy and they were very knowledgeable and familiar with the area. Great and friendly service. Unit was clean and well maintained. Staffing at front desk and houseman was very kind and explained their amenities and features.
