Pedicure itself lasted 30-minutes tops. Sloppy job, looks very unprofessional, no sugar scrub, no wax, no filler, just took polish off and put polish on. The ends of my toes look awful. Cost was $52.00 + tax and they expect a tip.
This is not the first time I've had a bad experience there. I'd happily do without disco balls and cheap margaritas for someone to actually do the actual work I pay for.
I usually love aqua nails but I was a tad disappointed this time ????
They were very courteous and got my nails done in record time but here's what I wanted vs what I got
She was so angry and rude because I wanted overlays instead of tips. She got pretty aggressive with removing my old acrylic and broke 5 of them! Every time I addressed this she would get rude again! The nails look good the service was just awful I have my nails done every 2 weeks I have never experienced anything like this before. Plus I was charged for the tips she intentionally forced on me.
I took my daughter and her best friend here. They are 8. It was such a nice time. The girls got slushies and goldfish crackers. It was lovely!
Really liked it! The mani was pretty standard and I had a little bit of paint on my hands afterwards which wasn’t a biggie, but the reason I’m giving this 4 stars. I absolutely loved the pedi tho! It was so relaxing and the service lady was so gentle. The place did smell very strongly of acetone and other nail products, but that is to be expected. Just mentioning that in case you are super sensitive to that sort of thing. Would totally recommend!
I love going here. They always get me in right away. Alex is amazing. He was helping a mom with her baby while she was getting her nails done. No one else could get the baby to stop crying. He was the baby whisperer. Jamie is by far my favorite nail tech. You all are amazing. I have always left happy.
I went to aqua nails today and paid for a friend and I’s nails There’s a lot of things about. In total, it cost $149. I asked to have My previous set removed and get a new full set with black Chrome. They were moving pretty fast so I thought that that was a good sign as this had been my first ever visit to Aqua. when I got up from the chair, I noticed that several of my nails were crooked. There was bubbles in the polish, and the chrome had not been applied correctly. I didn’t want to be rude so I’ve been paid for my set and my friend set. After walking out of the store, I realize that I paid $149 in hopes to leave with nails that I liked and I did not leave with nails that looked anywhere up to par for the price that I paid. when I went back to ask for some of my money back, I was then told that I could not be given a partial refund therefore they offered to fix it. as I was talking to the lady at the front desk, several of the employees in the back were laughing, pointing and talking about me. When they asked what needed to be fixed, I told them about the messed up shape and the scuffs in the chrome. When I sent the chair to have it fixed, the only thing that changed was the color and the chrome application. several of my nails are still completely misshaped. Both of my thumbnails are too totally different lengths. Not to mention during the first application, the acrylic on my thumbnail did not even cover my natural nail underneath. Overall, my experience was really rushed, and the customer service was very poor. I had heard several good things about aqua, but was highly disappointed after my experience today, and I definitely will not be coming back.
The pedicures are incredible, but I’ll never get my nails done there again. My nails were so bad I almost cried. I came back in immediately to get them fixed, was placed with the same tech and while they look better after the second time- it’s not by much at all. It’s embarrassing and I’m going elsewhere to get them really fixed. After spending over 100 for pedi and nails I won’t return.
