Best WLM Reviews
I personally had a high expectations because of the reviews. We went there to have a farewell party before I moved to different state. Hoping something more memorable but a bit disappointed.
The food was excellent but overpriced. We ordered fresh oyster and other appetizers/ salad that I didn’t take a picture of. For main course we got Fillet Mignon, Sea Bass, King Salmon, Rib chop Steaks. I recommend their Sea Bass and Fillet Mignon. We also ordered 2 bottles of wine and desserts.
Our waitress wasn’t attentive and at the end of the meal we were handed a blue and cream card explaining that a 20% service charge is included on each check BUT the company retains 100% of the service charge and welcoming additional tips! I really can’t recommend this place.
If you are unfamiliar with the area, you have to walk down the sidewalk for Aqua's entrance. There is a Valet and parking available. I can say that it has a great location overlooking the water, Elliot Bay Trails and the Space Needle in the distance.
Absolutely amazing! Service was over the top! They spared no expense on details! We went for my wife's 40th birthday and everyone from the host, to the waiter, to the valet just went out of their way to make her feel special! Highly recommended!
Date: Nov 8.
Online reservation for private party of 2 bday celebration.
Everything was above and beyond, worth the price tag.
Food: PHENOMENAL. They provide bread and butter, nothing wrong. We ordered a lobster dip and omg, so delicious. The flavor was unforgettable. We ordered the dinner for 2 which had lobster, shrimp, scallops, salmon, asparagus and mashed potatoes and it was all delicious. All flavorful and good portion! We closed with a creme brulee for the bday boy and that was so creamy and not sweet like they tend to be. The fruit made it sweet and delicious.
Service: starts with a coat check. On top of setting the table beautifully, they made mixed drinks on a cart in front of us and it was just so fun. They made my partner feel so special and the made special menus for his bday. We had 2 servers, one was more friendly than the other, but we were enjoying our company.
Atmosphere: live piano was top notch. The decorum was top notch.
Would we come back? ABSOLUTELY! Worth it? Every penny.
It is a gorgeous place, with many tables inside and outside the restaurant. It is located by the sea, with a great view of the sunset on one side, and the Mount Rainier on the other side. It is also possible to see the Space Needle from the deck. There was a musician playing piano and the open kitchen is very cool. There's a bar, where it is possible to enjoy the music while waiting for a table. The food is also great, but a little expensive for a regular person. Me and my group went there for one last dinner before leaving the city, and we had a great time, with the ambiance and the food. Great restaurant!
This is definitely one of the best restaurants I have ever had in Seattle. The appetizers: oysters and crispy calamari are really recommended. And the seafood combo is really worth the price!! Dessert is a little bit sweet for me, but still delicious.
We made reservations for a double Birthday celebration at AQUA for a Friday evening. We choose this restaurant based on the reviews and to see the sunset. Our server was Simon, and he was "okay". At times, he seemed to disappear on Us while we waited for our drinks, salads and entree. We were unclear if this was common practice as the table next to us had a different Server who was more attentive. We all choose the Caesar salad which is tossed and made directly at the table. It was "good", could have used less lemon and more anchovies and parmesan. My entree was the King Crab Legs which were 2 legs for $129. The legs were a little skimpy. We all shared the garlic mashed potatoes which were excellent. One Guest ordered the Black Cod which was "basic". My Hubby ordered the Manhattan NY strip. It was pretty small and looked very lonely all by itself on such a big plate! To our surprise, Aqua did provide us with 2 complimentary desserts for my son and his GF. They were the best part of the evening!!! NOTE: If you are unfamiliar with the area, you have to walk down the sidewalk for Aqua's entrance. There is a Valet and parking available. Overall, a great location overlooking the water, Elliot Bay Trails and the Space Needle in the distance. Disappointing, we did not see the sunset and overall is was a 4.7. Pricey for the portions.
My husband took me to Aqua for a surprise Birthday dinner ♥️????
They gave me a cute birthday card and a birthday menu ????????
It’s a beautiful place has a lovely ambiance, food was great. I had a really good time. Will definitely visit again! ♥️
The service was incredibly slow. My food was ok (I had the scallops), but my friend had the salmon which was amazing. Our drinks were not good and overpriced (Life's a Peach and Habiscus Chi-Chi). Overall, would not go back. Also, heads up - they do automatically apply a 20% service fee!
