Best WLM Reviews

Rooms are dated and carpet needs to be replaced. That's the first thing I would do. As far as the service goes, overall it was pleasant. Two things though:
No milk at the coffee station, I had to buy one for $2.
We had flowers delivered to the hotel for my daughters graduation. They were placed in our room in a vase with no water.
Overall the location is top notch, we walked to dinner both nights (Boone Street Market and PJ's Pub)
This hotel was very nice. The check-in was pleasant. The next day I needed a toothbrush and toothpaste, I asked if there was a charge for it and was told "Just Take It". I was fine with that but the person seemed annoyed by me asking. Maybe they were having a bad day. The room was clean. The bathroom was tiny. The vanity had just enough room for a hair brush on one side of the sink and my husbands toiletry bag on the other. I had to keep mine on the dresser in the room. Also, the tub bottom was extremely slippery and I almost fell getting in to take a shower. I put a hand towel on the bottom to stand on so I wouldn't slip and fall. The lights on either side of the bed did not work. We only had a lamp across the room so reading before sleep was not an option. The things that I mention are trivial but thought the hotel would want to know. Otherwise this hotel was very nice and we did enjoy our stay and I would stay there again.
The location is fabulous but money needs to be put into this hotel. Repairs and updates are needed badly. Many of the staff, although pleasant do not understand the hospitality business. My bill was screwed up, there was no soap in the room (and they couldn’t find any), the elevator had issues, fire alarm went off in the middle of the night (malfunction), the pool and hot tub were out of order, etc.
The room was clean but they cleaned the room while I was at breakfast on the day of checkout which means that I used the room after it was prepared for the next guests. Never had that happen before and when I told the front desk so housekeeping would go back in, the staff person seemed like he couldn’t have cared less.
If none of this bothers anyone, this is a very convenient spot!
Had a nice stay. Room was clean and met expectations. Booking experience on their website was easy and straightforward. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Location can't be beat.....even in December!!
I had my wedding at the Towers and booked my room block through Aqua Blue. Like other reviewers, I was hesitant but am so glad I did. There were some turnover in event coordinators, but we were able to get our room block secured. The only issue I had was some guest reported trouble getting through to anyone to book a room, or they were told rooms were full. However, when I raised this concern, I got direct contact information for a manager who was able to seamlessly assist. My husband and I stayed at the bridal suite and were welcomed with a bottle of bubbly. Kristal, the manager helped us get the deck space ready. She moved furniture and brought up tables so we could have our rehearsal on the deck. She even had it blocked off. It was wonderful. TJ, at the front desk helped me print out my vows. The place was perfectly clean, and the housekeeping ladies were so wonderful. They knocked to clean my room just seconds after me putting the sign on the door to have my room cleaned. The location is prime- guests at the wedding were able to walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Could the place use a little TLC? Sure. The floor were were on seemed to have brand new vinyl flooring so it seems like they are slowly getting there with renovating the place. Will definitely be coming back. Maybe for an anniversary getaway!
The door to the indoor pool was locked when it was supposed to be open. The manager who had the key wasn't there, and the attendant didn't seem to care. When it was open, the hot tub was out of order. There is also an outside deck with pool chairs, but no outdoor pool. There were not many other amenities.
We had requested a cot at check in but it wasn't delivered so had to call and ask again.
The lights in the lobby near the elevator were off in the morning and evening making it feel kind of creepy.
The parking lot was always full and the spots were very tight.
We were lucky to have an ocean view.
The manager on shift upgraded my room because I had put in the notes for my booking that I would like if balcony. The room I had paid for did not have a balcony I believe, but I got extremely lucky thank you the manager on shift. She did this free of charge and honestly it made my whole week because the room was amazing! She really made a big difference in making me fall in love with the hotel. I probably already would have felt, very positive about my day, but I was absolutely incredible and you really can’t beat it. I can’t wait to come back.
The hotel is in need of some TLC. While the lobby is bright and clean, the rooms are dated and always stale/humid. The carpets should be ripped up throughout.
We did have a very spacious room with many windows and a fridge.
The staff were mostly very young and some quite disinterested in their jobs. Others tried to be helpful, including the manager.
The pool was out of service for half of our stay which was a great disappointment to my children. This was one of the main reasons we booked here! That and the location.
The location is spot on, a 2-minute walk to the beach and back door entrance to shops, restaurants, coffee, and Nana's ice cream! Perfect spot!
The roof deck was a nice treat with a view of the ocean, again, needing a little TLC for the floorboards and furniture.
