Upon entering the lobby, it was decorated so cool! we we're greeted right away, by a friendly receptionist who checked us in very quickly. We requested a higher floor for a view of the ocean and Ferris wheel and we got it. The room was nice and clean with laminate flooring and the beds were very comfortable with four comfy pillows on each. Super soft sheets, too! Our room had a full kitchen in it including a coffee maker, an iron and luggage rack.
We had a nice size balcony with a round table and two chairs. The bathroom was very clean with lots of towels. Maybe a little bit dated, but that didn't matter to us. We are very picky about places we like to stay when we're traveling and we don't like to pay a lot either. This place checked all the boxes for us. The best part is you're right in the heart of downtown Myrtle Beach, where all the shops, restaurants and rides are. If you’re looking for convenience, free parking, comfy rooms with great views and price then this is your hotel!
My wife and I come to Myrtle Beach every Thanksgiving and stay for a week. This trip would have been very disappointing if it wasn’t for Aqua Beach Inn. We went to the hotel that I booked and as we were walking to our room my wife looked at me and said we can’t stay here! As we walked to the elevator she said once again…we can’t stay here! Got to our room, opened the door and the room wasn’t what was shown online. Holes in the ceiling,a used mask on the bedside table, food on the desk,urine in the bathroom floor and on the toilet seat. We turned right back around and asked for a refund. They offered another room. Which we did not take! Went to Aqua and the front desk personnel gave us a key and let us check our room before we booked and paid. Great place! Would recommend if you would like a nice view of the beach and a great price! The location is fantastic, right on the beach, offering breathtaking ocean views and easy access to the shoreline. My room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a cozy bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. The amenities were excellent too. The staff was nice.
There is also a free parking on site.
I also appreciated the hotel’s proximity to local attractions, shopping, and restaurants, making it easy to get around without a car.
Overall, Aqua Beach inn exceeded my expectations. Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly getaway or a relaxing retreat, this hotel has it all. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Myrtle Beach – I’ll definitely be back!
Only stayed for one night but would have happily stayed longer. The location is great- an easy walk from the beach and lots of shops, restaurants and bars. The airport is only a 10ish minute drive. |Check in was quick and the receptionist was so friendly, as was his colleague the next day.|My 10th floor room was spacious and had a balcony with fantastic views of the beach and ocean. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was on the older side and could do with a little tlc, particularly the en suite. |For the very low price I paid it was excellent value and I'd definitely stay again.
It was clean and cozy. House staff was nice and courteous. This hotel is right off of ocean drive near the boardwalk. Very scenic close to a lot of stores & access to parking. You can see the water from your balcony but it’s not a beach front facility. There’s a bar right across the street with reasonable prices and food. A pancake house is about a 2 minute walk from here. Overall I would recommend this place any day..
We look this property because all the rooms are facing the ocean. I love the morning sun rises coming into our room to start our day! The staff met all of my request for room location and that I did not want to be disturbed while I was there. It was another great relaxing vacation for my family and myself. Thanks
Let me start by saying the staff is great. Very friendly and always speakes to you. The room was very nice and clean. It's just across the street from the sky wheel and shop's and restaurants. I loved the location because I like that area to go sit and watch the sky wheel and the ocean and hit some of the shop's. I also like going to Mammy's breakfast buffet which is walkable and just right behind the hotel. They have a washer and dryer for guest that's on the 4th floor. That's not mentioned on their website so I thought I'd add that. No smoking in the room's or balconies but 2 smoking area's outside. I have been wanting to try this place for several year's and finally decided to try it. I'm glad I did and will definitely be a returning customer.
Great place to stay for the value. Close to downtown, great views of the ocean and walking distance to most restaurants. Parking lot needs better lighting as it felt a little unsafe late at night. Room was very clean and had kitchenette which was nice. All in all great places to stay and will probably return
